About the author

Kir Bulychev was a pen name of Igor Vsevolodovich Mozheiko, a Soviet Russian science fiction writer, critic, translator and historian of Lithuanian ancestry. His magnum opus is a children's science fiction series Alisa Selezneva, although most of his books are adult-oriented. His books were adapted for film, TV, and animation over 20 times – more than any other Russian science fiction author – and Bulychev himself wrote scripts for early adaptations.
He began to write SF in 1965. He has translated numerous American SF stories into Russian.
Winner of the ESFS Awards in 1984 as the "Best Short Story Writer".
Winner of the Aelita award in 1997.

Сюжет довольно динамичный, есть загадка, но Алиса не самый приятный персонаж, и финал очень скомканный.

Мне нравятся идеи Булычева о космосе. Планета шиворот-навыворот - это же так интересно. Но Алиса...

This book is not the best book of Bulychev. An idea is interesting, but realisation isn't very good. Scenes in space were more interesting in "Путешествие Алисы" and fairy characters were more amusing in "Заповедник сказок" and "Козлик Иван Иванович".
We meet our old friends, but they aren't doing something new. They act as if they are machines with certain functions and feelings.
There is a bad composition with strange moving from space to legendary era and without final in this book.
I can't understand why this story was so popular when I was a child.

Это книга также как и все истории про Алису отличается своим быстрым темпом, много событий, есть смешные моменты. Подросткам будет интересно это почитать, тут есть и путешествия в космос и перемещение во времени.
