Tai Chi is a part of Elisabeth's life and has been since 1987. She and her husband travel a lot and she also plays tennis on a regular basis for social and exercise enjoyment.

Outback Hero is a beautiful romance by Elisabeth Rose. Stella Starr needs a break from the spotlight after a public divorce and decides to leave Sydney and ends up in the outback town of Koologong after her car broke down. Stella needed someone to love her as Stella, not her celebrated status, so she was enjoying Jonathan Knight's attention. However, things fell apart when she realised that Jonathan wanted her to model his cotton clothing to help the struggling community. The readers of Outback Hero will continue to follow Jonathan and Stella to find out what happens.
Outback Hero is another fantastic book by Elisabeth Rose. I love Elisabeth Rose's writing style and how she portrayed her characters. I always have trouble putting Elisabeth Rose's books down, and Outback Hero kept up the tradition. Outback Hero was well written and researched by Elisabeth Rose. I like Elisabeth Rose's description of the settings of Outback Hero, which allowed me to imagine being part of the book's plot.
The readers of Outback Hero will learn about running a small business in a rural community. Also, Outback Hero readers will learn about deception's consequences on everyone involved.
I recommend this book.

When a star blows into town and can't leave for a while due to car trouble, a local businessman decides to keep her there as long as possible. After all, she'd be great for business! He's got a struggling clothing company just starting out, and having a big star wear their clothing line would mean a huge boost in sales! The trouble is, she's trying to hide her identity. She's run away from her formal life and nobody is supposed to know who she is. She has no idea that the residents of the tiny town where she's landed already figured out who she is. The challenge will be in getting her to agree to model the clothes using her true identity - without her running away first!
The story takes place in Australia, in a little town of just over 300 people. As I read I was reminded of the movie Crocodile Dundee with its humourous characters, and of the movie Notting Hill, as the star tries to hide her identity. This story is very different from those movies, of course, but with some slight similarities.
This is a fun read. The story flows well and the quirkiness of some of the characters added to the fun of reading it. It's a clean romance. It would make a great TV movie.

A sweet story - satisfying, with just enough tension from misunderstandings and opposing lifestyles.
I enjoy taking literary vacations, and this one was nice. I felt almost at home in the hero's house. Some of the descriptions on the surroundings could have been stronger. I found that the story flowed well, and this was a quick read. The author kept the plot simple, and only threw one twist in there, which I will admit took me by complete surprise.
I would recommend this book for a quick afternoon escape, especially if you're trapped indoors on a dreary day - enough sunshine in this book to warm you through and through!

Australian romance, quite "gentle" by romance novel standards, cliched story of a star on the run from her crazy life who becomes stranded in a small outback town and falls for the sensitive, gorgeous factory owner. Not very memorable but good escapist fiction.
