An excellent thriller dealing with the topic of sabotage of naval assets of the country and the infiltration of the security systems of the country by terrorist organizations. The story deals with a Navy man, Rajen, who is all set to be falsely implicated for an accident that results in sinking of a warship. His quest for justice leads him to discover a sinister plan to destroy one of the most crucial naval asset of the country. He has to face various problems within the system in order to convince the authorities that the accident was not his fault but a part of a systematic sabotage. After various interesting twists and turns, Rajen and his mates help to avert a disaster that nobody had planned for and something which would have embarrassed the Navy more than the loss of any equipment.
Coming in the backdrop of various mishaps involving naval equipment, one hopes that this book is a work of fiction as claimed by the author and not a voice prophesying doom. The author has mentioned various fallacies in the naval system and has clarified that these are the product of his imagination, but one wonders whether these events have taken inspiration in some form from reality, which the author must have been exposed to. Being a Navy man himself, the author is able to give a realistic touch to the plot. It gets a bit technical at some points, but this can be digested.
The downside of this book is that it needs a small dose of editing and better typesetting. Once this is done, you have a bestseller in your hands.

It is the first time an Indian writer is attempting a fiction novel in this Genre. It is fast action packed book , that one wouldn't feel like putting down. Racy and pacy. Easy read and totally different from the stuff coming out of the Indian publishing Industry.
