Submission - In her desperation to repair the rift between herself and her daughter, Ella moves back to Virginia, and agrees to allow the ghost of her past back into her life.
As a favor to her daughter, she allows James Wyman, Jesse's twin, to stay the week in her new home. James. Dominating. Sexy. Younger. The man that has filled her most secret fantasies, her most forbidden desires. And James is determined Ella won't escape him again. This time, she will submit.
Seduction - Jesse Wyman knows Terrie's reluctance to accept the desires that are a natural part of him. Desires he sees lurking in the darkest depths of her eyes. But Terrie must accept those needs herself. In a bold and risky turn, Jesse dares her to seduce him. Challenges her to accept her needs, to push her own boundaries. She must convince him. She must be willing to risk her heart, her very soul, for the ultimate prize. But is Terrie more daring than even Jesse knew?

Lora Leigh is a New York Times bestselling author of erotic romance novels. Leigh started publishing with electronic publisher Ellora's Cave in 2003. Leigh's longest-running series is The Breeds. She won the 2009 RT Award for erotica. Leigh was born in Ohio and raised in Martin County, Kentucky, US.
27/4 - Just starting this tonight. I think this'll be my last in a moderately long line of Leigh books - this'll be my fifth in just over a month (not counting the Laurenston books I've been reading over the same time period) - and I think I'm a bit erotica-ed out. I've about had enough of naked people and their shenanigans. If this gets a low rating it might be due to reading too much of it at once - you know, you eat a litre of ice cream in one go and you feel really sick? - well I've had about 850 ml and I'm starting to feel queasy. The only reason I am going to read it now, instead of giving the whole genre a rest, is because it's a library book that's due back in 14 hours (really by the end of business tomorrow, but I'm not making a special trip to the library at 7 tomorrow night, so I'm taking it back when I go grocery shopping tomorrow morning around 10). To be continued...
28/4 - Submission, the first book in this two-book omnibus, compared to Leigh's other Bound Hearts books that I've read, seems to be almost plotless and focused on the sex more than anything else. It's also considerably shorter than the previous two-book omnibus from this series that I've read - 152 pages shorter - so obviously there's less room and something's got to go. In this case it's character development, not that that was a huge feature in Shameless Embraces, but it seems to be completely absent in Submission (I don't have high expectations for Seduction). Most of what I know about Ella (heroine) has been discovered through her memories and internal dialogue - Ella and James don't talk except about him unwaveringly wanting her and her absolutely not wanting him. Ella appears to find her sexual appetites absolutely disgusting, she beats herself up so much that I believe she needs to see a professional. She almost seems capable of self-harm due to her extreme self-hate. I'm not sure James' plan to f*** her out of her self-disgust is going to, or should logically, work. To be continued...
18/5 - Finally finished this last night/this morning, but I'm not feeling particularly motivated to write much more about it. Fortunately I was able to re-borrow it as other books were more pressing and more interesting, so no fine to be paid on a not-wonderful book. Both stories went as expected, neither woman wanted to admit to their true desires, both men had watched their respective woman go through abusive/unhappy marriages, both stories ended happily after a ménage scene, due to it in fact. That's about all there is to say, except that the second story, Seduction was slightly better than the first. There was about one extra page of plot explanation/background and Jesse was slightly less forceful in his manner of encouraging Terrie to accept him and his lifestyle.
Submission & Seduction are books 2 & 3 in Leigh's Bound Heart series.
In Submission, Ella is trying to mend her relationship with her daughter and agrees to let James Wyman stay in her home until his house is ready to move into. Ella has been pining for James for a long time, but will not admit her feelings because she is ashamed of them. James is determined to make her see the light and submit to him in every way sexually.
In Seduction, Jesse and Terrie have had feelings for each other for years, but Terrie was frightened of her desires and knew Jesse was very dominant in bed. Terrie has a bit of a dominant streak as well and they both struggle to control their burgeoning relationship.
Leigh has a formula that she likes to follow with some of her books: Dominant, alpha male that wants his woman to feel the ultimate pleasure at their hands by "sharing" her with another man. The women are intrigued by this, but since it's "wrong" denies, denies, denies. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. It was OK in Submission, but annoying in Seduction.
Ella is older than James and it was one of the things that made her hesitant to be with him. Her former husband was a dominant as well, but they weren't compatible together and made her hate that lifestyle. I kind of understood Ella's reluctance and I thought James was sensitive to her needs. This was the better book in this anthology.
I didn't think Jesse and Terrie were good together; they just didn't work for me as a couple. Terrie was married to Jesse's brother because she thought he was safer. He was mentally abusive and liked to shove Jesse's sexual preferences in her face. He was aware of their feelings for each other and was determined to destroy it, I guess. He dies in a car accident and Jesse goes out of his way to care for Terrie. He decides he can't wait anymore, but wants her to seduce him. I didn't think there was much seduction going on from her part. She made an attempt and then seemed surprised when Jesse took her up on her offer. My whole thing was, if she really wanted it, she should have just gone for it. She was too wishy-washy for me.
Wowzah!!! What else do i say?? This was HOT HOT HOT!!! It left me wanting to read more :)
SO Ladies, I Finally got around to read Lora Leigh Bound Hearts Submission Seduction, And I LOVED it!! This series is NOT for the faint Hearted!! It is very Raunchy and filled with mind Blowing sex!!! So be where, if you decide to read this.
Submission is about Ella and James, and I loved it from the first page James Knows what he wants and he WANTS Ella, has loved her for 10 years and Ella has been running away from it (love) for 10 years!! Poor Ella you have to love her she has wanted James the first time she sore him…All tied up and Spread out… Lmao You will have to read it to find out more!!
Seduction, Wow talks about HOT this story is about Jessie (James twin Brother) and Terrie one of Ella BFF. I fell for this story straight away Jessie was so sweet and caring and has loved her for many years even though she was married to his Dick of a Brother (who is dead)… Jessie has always wanted Terrie and Terrie had always wanted him, she was tricked in somewhat way to end up with his Brother, but now it is 3 years later and Jessie has taken care of her and now he and Terrie WANT each other bad.
What two very interesting stories! I usually only read PNR books Loved reading this book, I thought I would try out something different and I am glad I did. For any one who has not read a Lora Leigh book should at least give it a go I am so going to read the rest of the series when I can get my claws on to one!!
This was maybe a little too porny for me. I'm just starting to read erotica, but I prefer something with a little bit of a story. This book is just two novellas so neither one really had time for an actual storyline. The language is cruder than other stuff I've read, and I actually started skimming. It wasn't sexy, it was just... ick. For good BDSM and menage stuff, try Victorious Star by Morgan Hawke or Wicked Ties by Shayla Black. Hotter, a mite less crude, and at least an attempt at a story.
Submission - 4 Story starts with Tess not wanting anything to do with James, even though many years ago he turned her on, when her husband couldn't. She fights him and he seduces her into submission. Seduction - 4 Terrie ran from Jessie into the arms of his brother who turned out to be an abusive ass and was about to divorce him when he died. Jessie has waited for years for Terrie to heal and to come to him. They both love each other but she doesn't want to be shared and has a lot of negative crap in her head thanks to her dead husband. Was hot, sensual read.

First read: Jan 2, 2010 WHOA...very, very hot...and very, very kinky!
Read it again, Nov 10, 2012, and have a review with a tiny bit more detail. Both short stories are erotic romances with a focus on bondage and submission in a threesome. The series revolves around a group of men who love their women and want to give them what they consider the ultimate pleasure with the occasional threesome.
Yes, this is a very erotic combination and what I like is the reason Leigh gives for their preference for a threesome. It's actually very caring with a nice storyline holding the sex together.
The Stories "Submission" is about James Wyman and Ella Delacourte with Sax as their third. Ella is Tessa Delacourte's mother from "Surrender", the first in the Bound Hearts series. So, it's rather surprising to discover the truth as to why Ella was so appalled at Tessa's behavior.
I did enjoy James' seduction of Ella, the lady who doth protest too much. It's a nice switch for the ladies to have a woman older than the man who is so incredibly attracted to her.
"Seduction" is Terrie's seduction with Jesse Wyman, a lawyer at Delacourt Electronics, and Lucian as their third. Tally Raines enters the series as Jesse's bitchy secretary who connives with Terrie. Seems Terrie wasted a lot of years through her own fear of Jesse's desires only to experience worse with his brother Thomas.
This one includes a threesome with two women and a man. Another short story that deals with the fear of accepting one's own desires and sexual needs.
The Cover The cover is disturbing with the morph-effect of a man's head and neck seeming to emerge from the back of a woman's head and shoulder. I guess Leigh chose only a couple for this cover as both women are more interested in an intense relationship with one man and the occasional third.
The title is simply the titles of both stories: "Submission" and "Seduction".
This is the second and third book in the Bound Hearts series, but the third and fourth Lora Leigh book I've read so far. The storyline is the same from the first book, but I still gave it a high rating because of the excellent writing style. Ms Leigh used simple words but she made the characters come to life through their thoughts and feelings. The sexual tension was really palpable in the way the characters act, their words, and finally unleashing their unbridled lust.
In both "Submission" and "Seduction", the men conquer the women to finally just "let go" of their sexual inhibitions.
In "Submission", Ella is patching things up with her daughter Tess, and so agrees to let James Wyman (Jesse's twin) to stay at her house, we later learn that it's been years since they both wanted each other and so things just fell into place. I'm not exactly a fan of older-women-younger-men couples so I just didn't consider their ages while reading the sex scenes.
In "Seduction", Ella's friend Terrie turns the table around Jesse when she seduced him and made him lost control. I liked their relationship, Jesse was really a gentleman, he gave Terry his trust and had him where she wanted him. Things worked out between then eventually, and the next story is about Tally and Lucian, and I'll think I'll rest for now and read it later.
There's always a pattern of conflict between the characters. When it comes to sexual desires, the women are always apprehensive, then the men would seduce them until the grand finale of the menage. The threesomes aren't really degrading unlike in porn, because during the act, the men are always gentle and encouraging, the women and their bodies were worshipped and not used. There's no name-calling during the act, and I like how vocal the characters are in their desires, it really sizzles things.
This is book 2 and 3 of Lora Leigh's Bound Heart series. It is definately not for the faint of heart. It has M/F/M and F/M/F menage as well as some BDSM scenes in it.
Submission
Ella is desperate for mend fences with her daughter. To get into her daughters good graces, she allows James Wyman to stay with her until his house is built. Ashamed of the secret fantasies which all star him, she tries to avoid him and hides from the feelings he enstills in her. James has loved Ella for years. Knowing that this is the time to make his move, he persues and dominates Ella making her face her deepest, darkest fantasies.
Seduction
Terrie is in love with Jesse. Knowing his taste for the darker side of sex, it fasinates and draws her to him. Jesse has been giving Terrie time. Time to think about what she wants. Can she handle the lifestyle he wants to give her, or will she turn away? Jesse decides to take a chance on her, and sets out to seduce her.
This is a very good book. I always like Lora's heroes, and she does not dissappoint with Jesse or James. I have to say I am not a Menage reader. I usually do not set out to read a story that involve more than 2 people unless it has been recommended to me, or it is written by one of my favorite authors like Lora. Lora is one of the few authors I can read where the characters have multiple partners. I think it's because of the way she usually has the hero rationalizing it and the way he approaches it with the herione. I don't know if that makes any sense though, but that's my thought on it anyway.
Enjoyed this book, but I really wish there was more backstory for the two women that these stories are about. Would have loved to know more about the supposed "abuse" that their former husband's imposed upon them. Was it emotional, physical? The author entices us to believe that their new lovers (James and Jesse) are set on satisfying their physical "needs", but what about their emotional "needs" of Ella and Terrie? A woman who has been abused by a previous lover needs to have her emotional needs met before she can feel comfortable enough to proceed with the physical.
Pēc piecu stāstu izlasīšanas sapratu, ka visiem būs vienāda pamata sižeta līnija- vīrieši no Kluba cenšas iegūt kādu sievieti, kura protams savā ziņā to nevēlas un pretojas. Visu laiku notiek argumentācija no abām pusēm, beigās viss nonāk līdz seksam trijatā.
I defiantly liked Jesse and Terrie's story much better than James and Ella.
But, I seam to have a soft spot for a friends to lovers story.
With these short novellas its nice to move past the running stage. The first book was nothing but running. At least Terrie took control. It was nice switch to see the alpha man pull back.
I have to admit I am looking forward to Tally and Lucien. I love a strong female, in tuned with her desires.
I liked these quickies that have started out this series. It is interesting to see the beginnings of the club before things were formalized. With each story being around 100 pages things proceed very quickly. This book is not for the faint of heart. For me the second story was better than the first, but only because the woman gave back as good as she got.
Good, but not great. I had a hard time reading this book. Things were getting redundant and over done. I wasn't as pulled by the characters and the story line, so the smexy scenes were starting to all run together. It wasn't a bad book. It just wasn't great.
HOT HOT HOT!!! I had to take a very long very cold shower after finishing this novel! Lora Leigh once again proves that she is the queen of Erotica! A must read for anyone who likes to push the boundaries that extra little bit!
this book was steamy and perfect. I loved the second story in this book 100 times more though. they both get 5 stars though. if could would make it higher rating. definitely will read more Lora Leigh.
This was a fast-paced, steamy read. The men lived up to the alpha male stereotype, but the women showed a bit of backbone themselves. A book with a definite kink to it.
Can there be too much sex??? so erotic it kept me distracted on the elliptical for 6.2 miles, woohoo. That said, I loved the characters, the emotion exchanged and the chemistry.
I rated this just by what I feel after I finish read. One of some erotica titles that I read because "curiousity". Turn that I'm not really into BDSM stories
