This is a good solid splatbook, with everything a splatbook is supposed to deliver: larger than normal font choices, lots of white space, plenty of art, in character rules explanation and all the crunchy bits your little heart could desire. I give it extra points for not releasing this as 3 separate books.

Jokes aside, I do like the "the rules as writ are designed to be versatile and quickly narrate over scenes; if you want to do a deep dive into any of these three core activities, here's how to add varied dice rolls and break out tension beats" design of the book. It's a good structure for both the game and the supplement.
