Watching the sun rise on the midsummer solstice at Stonehenge, Jenny's holiday takes a terrifying turn when a chance combination of time, location and ancient Druid magic sweeps her back to the year 1347. The ancient Gatekeeper, who should have prevented this, intends to hide Jenny in the safety of her cave until the next time warp, but fate is against them. Jenny has to live in the squalid conditions of a peasant village. While hiding in the forest she saves a Lady from thieves and is taken to live in her castle but she is not much better off there after she uncovers the younger son's murderous plot to depose the old Lord, his father. Matters are made worse by the greed of a powerful neighbour and the evil magician that controls him. Can Jenny's ingenuity save the day? And more importantly, can it get her back to her own century?
Step back in time to Medieval England with Jenny (from today) and an assortment of good and evil characters. This is a unique blend of historical fact and fiction that will have you wanting more.

This will appeal to older children and young adults. Adults reading the books to younger children will enjoy it as much as the kids do. A story for all ages.
This book reads like it was written by a child. The story wa okay though a little unreal. 19 year old shy Jenny Cowan is standing on the site of the orignal alter at Stonehennge at the time when she can be sent back to 1347. She becomes a knight and leads a team of soldiers to victory she teaches the village women to fight by hand combat (this is something that takes a lot of training and do it in a couple of days does not ring right). I got through it.
