The Caucasus: A Challenge for Europe

This paper discusses EU policy toward security developments in the Caucasus. The study considers the challenges to a peaceful and prosperous Caucasus and Russia’s role and policies in the region. Further, the authors look at European interests in the Caucasus and present a set of recommendations for its policy toward the region.
