This board book is great for younger children just learning to read. The pictures are so bright and fun. The animals are photographed into the book and kids can see up close to their favorite animals. The facts are all true, and easy to read for new readers. The format is fun and inviting. They sort animals up into continents and different areas in the world.

This is a very informative book. It presents material in a fun way that makes you want to read the facts. This book gives facts about all sorts of animals for kids. It can help with a project about animals or even just with curiosity. I gave it 5 stars because of this. It is good for grades 1-5.

This book gives a bried introduction to animals who live in different places such as the jungle, Africa, the woods, etc. I would use this as an introduction to a science research project about an animal. I would have them pick an animal from one of the categories that interested them and they would find interesting detailed information about their animal. Then they could present it in anyway they want. However they can best introduce the animal. Although, they probably will not be able to bring in the animal unless it is a pet.

This is another of my son's books that he loves. It is full of pictures with a little blurb about each. Each page or two presents a collection of animals grouped somehow (farm animals, Australia, Africa, pets, etc.). The photographs are good and I love the fonts that are used to jazz this up.

This is no great book, but Fritz enjoys locating the different animals as we peruse the pages.

An excellent example of forced rhyming, uncomfortable color schemes, and classic cut and paste photo layouts.

Board book. The book is photographs (no information) on all sorts of animals. There are about 8 photos per page, in categories like pets, on the farm, in Africa, in the cold, in the woods, in the jungle, in the sea, in Australia, around the world.
