The first installment of the Lore of King and Slater series, Recruited, left me feeling underwhelmed and unenthusiastic. Anticipating a more satisfying experience in the second book, Thin Air, with the inclusion of Jason King, the main protagonist of the author's previous works, I was ultimately let down yet again. Despite an abundance of high-octane action, the gripping intensity that I was hoping for was lacking. Nevertheless, it should be noted that one positive aspect of this series is its brevity, making for a fast and easy read.

Really great reading
The first two books in this new series has been enlightening to read as it fills in some of the void into the back stories of King and Slater. I'm hoping that there will be more to follow. These two have been filled with all of the action and adventure I've come to expect from the author. Well done.

Another fantastic King novel
Matt Rogers is the absolute master of fast paced adrenaline novels. Nothing is easy for King in this novel, but he pushes beyond what is possible and continually learns more about himself. Great book.

Great Short
Great short read about King and his first double cross. Enjoyed it. Enjoying Dante series too. I have read everything by this author. Keep them coming.
