After the Hunters find Lilith in New Orleans, she and her Wiccan friend Anna decide to go where they think no one would expect to find vampires; The Valley of the Sun, Phoenix, AZ. It is there that they meet Donovan and Christian, and two romances begin.
Daniel Shaurette was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. A self-proclaimed "desert rat", he is a proud native of the Valley of the Sun.
He wrote the manuscript for his first novel, LILITH'S LOVE, while earning a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science at Arizona State University. The novel is, at its core, a romance; a tale of Love transcending even the boundaries of time and death.
Dan created Crimson Swan Press to independently publish the paperback novel, eBook versions, and the serialized podcast audio version of the novel.
Author Dan Shaurette wrote the manuscript for this novel while earning a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science at Arizona State University, which was enough to pique my interest -- I wrote my first vampire novel while working third shift as a computer operator.
That's not where the similarities end, though. Lilith's Love features old-school vampires: Lilith sleeps on an earth mattress with soil from her grave), my lead vampire keeps soil from his grave. My protagonist meets up with a coven of witches. Dan's protagonist's best friend is, you guessed it, a Wiccan.
With those disclosures, you know I started his novel with a bias toward liking it. I was not disappointed.
The love story between Lilith and Donovan is real and ethereal. The danger from her master and a blast from Donovan's friend Christian's past is palpable.
Recommended, especially for those fans of old-school vampires.
A delightful easy story. The plot was straightforward, not requiring too much of the reader’s concentration. The main characters were well developed and they were likable. There was some suspense, some very adorable scenes of flirtation and, what I enjoyed the most, some enchanting conversations. I would prefer the author concentrated more on the love portion of Lilith’s love, as the title led me to believe the main emphasis of the book would be. After reading it I felt that Lilith’ love, her actual feelings, was not expressed adequately which led me to believe that she actually did not love anybody. She was likable but without deep emotions. Still, a very enjoyable book.
I listen to it for free at the website below and they say to tell every one to go here to listen to it. It was a great book and they use many voices to make up the audio book, I loved the way that they used lots of people to tell the story even better then a normal audio book. http://podiobooks.com/title/liliths-l...
