This is my absolute favorite book of all time! I first read it in 4th grade and always remembered it. I have now after getting into it once more have rediscovered my love for it. This story emphasizes the power of imagination. Terebithia is the product of a powerful imagination and it becomes a great escape. This book demonstrates the power of friendship as well. It shows that having the right person in one's life can cause great and remarkable transformation. An example of this is the fact that Jesse because of his friendship with Leslie opened up and changed his outlook so much so that heis relationship with his sister dramatically improves as the story progresses. He ends up making her royalty in the kingdom at the end of the book. The book was an emotional Rollercoaster. Jesse the main character earns the reader's sympathy being an outcast. Then he finds Leslie and life is good for him. Then she dies and it hurts for Jesse and the reader especially because he wasn't there to say goodbye. Essentially him not being there possibly saved his life. The sad part is him being there might of saved her's. It is an exceptional read and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Yaya: I liked Bridge to Terebithia. I think it was sad but happy. Sad when someone dies, but at the beginning it was happy.

Chloe: It was sad when Leslie died, I liked then end when the boy (I forget his name) built a bridge across the stream instead of using a rope.
It was a little funny that Leslie didn't have a tv at her house, anyways I liked the story.

Bridge to Terebithia was my favorite book as a young teen. The movie didn't do it justice. It usually never does.

It was ok. I liked( at the end)when Jess lets May Belle be the queen. That was so sweet. But sad at the very end too.
