ONE FOR ALL AND ALL FOR ONE! HOT! HOT! HOT! EROTICA HEAVEN!
I absolutely loved the story and by the end I wanted to know more about the characters and how their relationship worked out. Full-filling each other’s fantasies were Grant's and Vivi's pleasure when it came to sex in the bedroom.
One fantasy however that they secretly kept from their best friend Cade was that they both desired him and wanted to bring him into their bedroom. But insecurities kept Grant from asking him because he was afraid of coming out and admitting that he had desires for a man but not just any man, he had a desire to be with Cade.
Things heat up when the opportunity opens up when the washer machine breaks down and Grant and Cade try to fix it for Vivi while she goes over to Cade's place to finish the laundry and gives Grant a chance to talk to Cade.
Grant opens up and comes clean with the truth about how he feels sexually towards Cade and what Vivi and Grant desire. An experience out of this world is foretold and is a must read. I love the happy ending - One for all and all for one.
This is simply one of the best menage stories I have read. It felt honest, real and a little scary too.
What happens when your spouse of ten years tells you they have a fantasy? And that fantasy involves your best friend of more than twenty years?
Watching Grant discover a new part of himself with Cade was amazing. His certainty that this was the right decision at the right time made me want to hug him. He didn't have the caveman reaction to being with another man, as long as that man was his best friend. It says a lot about love when it removes obstacles and previously conceived conceptions about ourselves. It says even more when it allows you to see beyond gender and labels. If you love someone, you love all of them and you love who they are, not what they are. Grant and Cade are a wonderful example of that.
Vivi's fears of being replaced by Cade rang true and addressed what a lot of menage romantica stories ignore: the very real possibility that bringing a third person into your bed could very well backfire on you. Yes, the menage was her idea, but she rightfully became frightened when her husband took to the idea so readily and even started exploring without her. But as soon as Grant reached out to her when she felt she was being shut out, my heart constricted and I got a huge smile on my face.
Cade's reaction at the end of the night also felt genuine. It would be normal to panic and want to reestablish boundaries, if only to try and protect yourself from wanting too much. Seeing Cade finally find a true home and a sense of genuinely belonging was wonderful.
Coming Clean is a beautiful story about learning that your heart is never too full and there is always the capacity to love more than you already do. With some amazingly hot smut. ^o^
Coming Clean by Inez Kelley is my favorite book in the Dirty Laundry series from Carina Press. This story is not just about a husband wanting to fulfill his wife’s fantasies, it’s about crossing lines that once crossed, you can’t go back. It’s about friendship, love and a much deeper connection.
Grant and Vivi are so much in love that they are secure in their relationship and not afraid to share their deepest desires. Grant has been all for fulfilling Vivi’s fantasies until she asks for the ultimate fantasy, a ménage’ with Cade. He is immediately turned on by the idea of seeing Vivi and Cade together but doesn’t know if he can join in and enjoy Cade too. He has housed a secret desire for Cade since they were teenagers but he is straight and is confused by these feelings he is having.
Cade and Vivi used to be dancing partners and they have always felt a connection when they danced. They have a special bond just like Cade and Grant but Cade would never cross those boundaries. He is stunned but elated when Cade brings up the subject with him. He desires what Grant and Vivi have; he loves them both and doesn’t want to do anything that could cause problems with their friendship.
When Grant takes the final step, Cade is gentle and loving with him. He wants to show Grant that what they have is just as special as what he and Vivi have. There is such tenderness and love in the scenes that you realize that this relationship goes much deeper than sex. When Vivi joins in, she has her doubts when she sees Grant and Cade together. She is insecure and afraid that Grant doesn’t need her anymore, until she realizes that they both need her as much as they need each other.
This is a story about discovering not only yourself, but each other. The three of them have taken their friendship to the most intimate level. They realize that Cade is just as important to their relationship as each other.
Inez Kelley has done a wonderful job of showing that sex can be so much more. Be warned that there are m/m/f scenes in this story but they are beautifully written and are very HOT!!! Overall I give Coming Clean 4 Flaming Hearts.
I hopped straight from Inez Kelly’s Talk Dirty to Me to Coming Clean, and WOW. Not only is Coming Clean a hot read, the plot has depth too. Cade, Grant, and Vivi have been friends for years; while Grant and Vivi have been happily married, Cade has been their friend, vacation partner, and dance partner. Cade has an attraction for them both that sits quietly on the burner, but when they leave for vacation, Grant and Vivi talk sex….between the three of them. Cade loves them both, and because he has such a history with each of them, he’s hesitant to rock the marital bed. Menage stories can be difficult to write : Should they all have a happily ever after ending – together? Should the threesome be a weekend thing? Will someone feel left out? But Kelly writes this story with grace, and the ending felt right. When I read this, I felt the connection between all three characters, and the depth that years can add to both marriage and friendship, and their mutual love and respect is very well reflected. Plus, hot sex doesn’t hurt. I can’t wait for what Inez Kelly has in store next. *I received a free galley from the publisher.
After reading the first 2 books in this Laundry themed series I knew that I HAD to get this book. I read the blurb and thought OH MY that will be hot. It was exactly that but I think the focus of this story is more on how these 3 got to the point of the ménage. I especially loved that aspect of the story. Perhaps it's because I'm usually rather skeptical concerning ménage stories and all the talking and discussing before anything really happened helped me accepting it as much as it did for the characters.
Vivi and Grant are happily married. They have a wonderful relationship- they love each other endlessly, the sex is great and they can talk about everything. They know that what they have is something special and they treasure it every day. I love how these 2 were together. You can feel their love and I highly adore that they are so open with their desires and opinions. Vivi mentions her dirty little fantasy and Grant is not only worried because his wife wants another man, but he is even more worried because he himself is also very interested.
Cade is Grant's best friend in what feels like forever. He always was an essential part of their life but there is no way denying the attraction between him and Vivi, and actually Grant but that is a secret so don't tell. ;) I wouldn't say that he only is Grant's friend, all three of them connects in a deep friendship. He fits exactly into their life, like the missing piece to make them complete.
I loved the build-up in this book. The way Mrs. Kelley maneuvered her way through the journey from thinking about it to actually doing it was masterly done. I often miss this in menage books. Her writing has a fantastic flow with a lyrical touch. It just draws you in and will prevent you from putting this book down for more than a few minutes. The interactions and conversations between her characters seem so real, I could actually see this happening in real life.
And lets not forget the smex. Oh My God I loved it. We do not only have menage action but we also get some really hot m/m. Can I please have these 2 guys for myself? I will hide them from BF in my closet, it's a big one. *wicked grin* The first man on man scene was so lovely to watch unfolding. Mrs. Kelley gave both guys enough room to accept what they want and the actual sexual contact started one little step at a time. I love how they used 'manly' synonyms to describe the actual act, it made the whole story a bit lighter and it's exactly how I imagine men talking about those things, with sport references. LOL The only bad thing i can say about this book is that it was over too fast. The end is a bit abrupt and I would have loved a bit more insight at the end.
All in all Coming Clean is one of the best menage books I ever read. The characters are adorable, the storytelling is perfect and Mrs. Kelley's voice is something I will never forget. I highly recommend this book to all the menage lovers out there and to those who always wanted to try and were to shy to do so. This book is exactly what you searched for. It will take your hand and slowly take you through this story. I know I won't lose Inez Kelley from my author radar.
Grant and Vivi have been married for ten years and have been pretty open with their sexual fantasies. Vivi boldly states one night that she wouldn’t mind a threesome with their best friend Cade – and to her astonishment, Grant actually agrees. In fact, Grant considers himself straight but has always had romantic feelings for his best friend. But saying you want to play out this fantasy, and making it a reality are two very different things.
Cade is bi-sexual, and loves and respects Grant and Vivi. Over for dinner one night, Grant and Vivi’s washing machine goes up. When Vivi leaves to finish the laundry, Grant spills on their plan. Cade doesn’t want to screw up their marriage, but it doesn’t take much effort to convince him to screw other things….
Coming Clean is a dirty, dirty book. I loved it. There is not a lot of drama, not a lot of conflict, just three people who admit and own up to their feelings and have a night of hot lovin’! You can argue that they may have jumped into bed together without enough thought of how it is going to affect the future. But sometimes you just want to read a book with hot smex, and that is what this book gives you. I’m a sucker for male/male romances and when I saw this erotic was a m/m/f with a bi-sexual male I knew Inez Kelley would deliver the goods in that department.
Cade and Grant have been best friends for a long time and they have both wanted to explore their relationship further, but they both ended up married, although Cade eventually divorces. Once Vivi gives the green light – with a little trepidation, and making sure all the ground rules are set out – the two of them come together in a very naughty shower. They are both very masculine men and since Grant has never been with another man, his nervousness just makes the sex scenes that much hotter. He doesn’t stay nervous for long and thank you Inez Kelley for that! Vivi also gets her turn with the two men, although she likes just watching too.
This book is pretty short, and although it only covers one night, their relationship worked for me. Inez Kelley gives us flashbacks into their past where we see foreshadowing of this moment to come, and she gives us a really good emotional connection between the three of them. I do kind of wish the ending hadn’t wrapped up so quick in terms of deciding their future. In this one I could have dealt with “they all fall asleep the end” – rather than them trying to work out a solid relationship between them for the future.
This is the third book in the “Dirty Laundry” series and I will definitely have to go back and check out the previous installments, “Coin Operated” by Ginny Glass and “Talk Dirty to Me” co-authored by Ginny Glass and Inez Kelley. I may never look at my laundry room the same way again.
WOW. This little novella has successfully left my mouth gaping open. Going into it I wasn’t aware it was centered on a threesome. I tend to shy away from reading other reviews of books on my TBR pile. They tend to cloud my judgment and so I skim to just read whatever rating it was given and then move on to the next blog. I have seen Coming Clean on several blogs getting decently high marks and so when it was sent to me for review I jumped at the chance to read it.
The story is essentially about a married couple, Vivi and Grant. Vivi has some sexual fantasies she wants to try out and Grant is more than eager to fulfill them. When she brings up the fact that she has been thinking of a threesome….with his best friend….he was shocked. Shocked that he didn’t recoil immediately at the idea and even more shocked that the idea turned him on. Cade is his best friend, and he’d by lying to himself if he said their one experience had ever left his memory.
Cade isn’t sure how he is supposed to answer the question of “will you have a threesome with me and my wife”. He loves them and has fought back desire for years regarding them both. The idea of becoming intimate with them as an “experiment” is something that most definitely turns him on.
These three are about to embark on a journey of sexual awareness and discovery that will leave all of them wanting much much more…
I thought Coming Clean was delightfully written with a sense of sexuality that is unmatched. I did enjoy the story line even if I thought it was a bit predictable. I mean how many times does a man have a bi-sexual friend that has longed for him for years only to find out he wants him just as much? And in the long run how many threesomes actually work long term? Someone always ends up jealous or feeling left out and they want out. Understandable. When reading menage erotic romance I guess you have the throw those out the window and just focus on the “what if scenario”.
I did enjoy the novella for what it was…A super fast, hot read with enough sexual draw the sunset can’t complete with its scorching rays of light. I enjoyed the internal warring of the characters in the decision to go through with their fantasy. The push and pull of the masculine embraces and the warm breath of a feminine touch.
Coming Clean is a novella not to be missed if you enjoy menage romance, bi-sexuality and gay romance. Inez Kelley is making a name for herself in this genre, and I’m liking what I’m reading.
This was a short, erotic read. Cade, Grant and Vivi have been best friends forever. But lately Grant and Vivi, who are married, are thinking they might want more than just a friendship with the bi-sexual Cade. Grant is straight as an arrow, but he's becoming Cade-curious. To them, progressing their relationship would just be another form of showing their love. But can they convince Cade?
Despite this being so short, the emotions of the characters were well written. It was easy to feel the insecurities and hopefulness of each character as they struggled to deal with what a threesome would really mean between them. I liked that the issue of the third-wheel, in this case Cade, was addressed and dealt with.
I only wish the story had been longer. I would have liked to see how the relationship progressed past that one night.
My Rambles: Bow chicka wow wow! Holy crap this book is hot!! It is sensual, and loving, and amazingly erotic! The first page had me hooked. Grant was thinking about how amazing and beautiful his wife was (and is!). I love the scenes between Grant and Cade, and the three of them together was just so romantic and beautiful.
It is a short story of about 115 pgs, but it is totally worth the read. I would love to revisit this "triangle" some day! It is VERY loosely connect to Talk Dirty to Me by Inez Kelley and Ginny Glass and Coin Operated by Ginny Glass! 5/5
Who do I recommend to? Do you like erotic romance? Erotica? Man on man on woman? Man on man? Man on woman on man? Then you will love this!
I don't generally like menage but this one between Viv, her husband Grant and their best friend Cabe was just so smoking hot that to not like it, wasn't an option at all. The lead into the menage was tastefully done and the entire menage scenes were really organic and the opposite of crude. And the M/M scenes - yum. Yes, yum. And that's a miracle thing for me to say.
Loved this story! I am not a fan of MMF threesomes, but this one was actually very nice! This is a promising author, who brings a refreshing view on romance. Fun and very sexy books!
4.5* I loved it and wished it had been just a little bit longer. One of my favorite ménage stories ever, so well-written. Hot, sweet, realistic and just so good.
Grant and Vivi Michaelson have been married for many years and are in as much love now as when they were newlyweds. The key to their happiness is through honest communication and living out their fantasies with no guilt involved. Their marriage has led to many enjoyably exotic experiences, but there's one scenario they've held back from indulging in. Cade has been a part of their lives for over twenty years and he's played a part in many of their mental fantasies, but they now want things to become a reality. Will this be the end of a beautiful friendship or will it be the beginning of a new kind of relationship? And will feelings of jealousy be too much this time for a marriage to handle or will love bloom in a new and bigger way? These are the questions that arise in this super steamy story that features f/m, m/m, and f/m/m scenes and leaves you sweating until the final page is turned.
Stories involving threesomes always create feelings of jealousy and it's up to the author's handling of those feelings that makes for a satisfying story or not. In this story, Grant and Cade have a history of experimenting with each other back in college. Fear led Grant to stopping, but he's thought about those moments with Cade ever since. Vivi and Cade also have a relationship through the ballroom dancing they've been partaking in and that has led to sexual undertones whenever they're together. All these exterior moments add an interesting dimension to their threesome. It makes for a closer knit relationship that encompasses each individual equally.
The path to the threesome doesn't automatically happen which made it feel more realistic. Grant was nervous bringing it up to Cade and Cade questions the affect it will have on their marriage. This makes the characters feel more human and by slowing building the sexual tension, the final coming together feels more satisfying.
The couplings are all sexy and given equal amounts of time. The threesome felt natural because we've seen Grant and Vivi together, Grant and Cade together, and there's a strong emotional tie to be found in their scenes. When all of them finally come together it just feels right. There's a few moments of fear from each of them because of the intense emotions but they quickly work past it. The ending leaves you feeling positive about where things will go for them, but as usual with these stories the ramifications and realities of this kind of relationship aren't fully addressed.
This was a sexy and satisfying read that was the perfect way to spend the afternoon. With likable characters and well-placed and satisfying sexual interludes this becomes a story that lingered on my mind long after I finished reading it. If you're wanting a highly emotional read with a fantasy coupling for everyone than take a chance on this story and you'll be satisfied you did.
I'm just giving you guys a head's up- this story is firmly in the erotica genre, so there's a lot of sex involved in the story. The pairings in this book are M/F, M/M, & M/M/F, so if you don't like same sex pairings then this might not be the story for you. With that warning in mind, on with the review!
Grant & Vivi have a seemingly perfect marriage. They keep no secrets, they play together well... and they both seem to have a not so hidden desire for Grant's childhood friend Cade. When Vivi asks Grant to help fulfill her secret fantasy to have both men in her bed at once, Grant is initially a little shy but warms to the idea quickly. After all, he & Cade have a bit of a history, an encounter in their youth that he's remembered all too vividly- something that Vivi is aware of & is driving her reasons for requesting the threesome. But can friendships & marriage survive the encounter?
This is a wonderfully sizzling read. The sex scenes are so wonderfully written that it'll bring more than a little blush to your cheeks & quicken your pulse! Readers will love that Kelley has not only managed to bring these wonderful sex scenes to the book, but that she also manages to convey a bit of story to it as well. Part of what made the short story work so well for me is that Kelley made sure to focus on the non-sexual parts of a threesome- the fear that this might drive a wedge into a relationship as well as focusing on the trust & love necessary to make such an arrangement work.
The only thing that sort of threw me was that once in a while the story jumped to other points in time quite suddenly, making me have to flip back a few pages to see if a day had passed or if this was just a flashback. This might be because the story is quite short (only about 90 pages long), but rest assured- this doesn't hurt the story any.
I can't help but hope that Kelley gives us a story about this group again in the future. There's plenty of story potential for these three. This was a wonderfully written story that fans of hot fiction will be sure to love!
Very good sexy short story about married couple Vivi and Grant and their best friend Cade. Vivi has a fantasy of being with Grant and Cade together and Grant has a secret (or not so secret) longing for Cade too (although he struggles with a "bi" or "gay" label - the only male he's interested in is Cade. Cade is openly bisexual and has long had a thing for both of his friends. Even though the book is only 92 pages, there is plenty of character in there for my money and I really enjoyed the negotiation between the 3 of how things were going to work. I liked the dialogue and the various connections shown between the three - it felt equal as opposed to the men only being linked via the woman for example and many of their believable fears were dealt with during the course of the story. I must say that where I read a menage story m/f/m I like them much better when there is m/m interaction too and this one delivered - oh boy howdy did it! *fans self* It was hot and romantic and sexy and all this in only 92 pages! I was enjoying the threesome so much I would have liked to read more about them. I wonder where they'd be a year on? I think there are other books in the Dirty Laundry series I'm going to have to check out.
There's hot, there's scorching hot, then there's overheating the laptop. Or ereader, whatever device you're reading ebooks on. I recently read Talk Dirty To Me and enjoyed it so when I saw a chance to win a copy of Coming Clean, the third in the Dirty Laundry series, I jumped. And won, which is awesome because free books are the best thing ever! I've read a couple of ménage-themed stories before and to be honest, it's not always my cup of tea. Successfully bringing a third person into an established relationship is an idea fraught with emotional and physical landmines, something Coming Clean doesn't shy away from. I think that level of honesty is what made this book for me. All three characters have their doubts and fears and we get chapters from all three points of view as they work through them. This is about a lot more than just bodies, it's about hearts too. Working through these issues in an honest, open, adult manner allows the reader to get to know the characters and to really be happy for them when things work out. Coming Clean is a great read and yes, the sex just about overheated my laptop. ;-)
Another quick read in the Dirty Laundry series. While I liked Coming Clean, it didn't draw me in as much as Talk Dirty to Me did, perhaps because we the reader aren't seeing a new relationship build, we're seeing existing relationships change.
Vivi and Grant have been married for ten years and are pretty comfortable with their life. When Vivi reveals a fantasy about Grant's oldest friend, Cade, the old marrieds decide to make this fantasy come true.
Things turn steamy pretty quickly for the trio, first with Cade and Grant while Vivi is prepping laundry for their camping trip, then with Vivi present. The sex is hot and descriptive, and the story is fast-paced.
Like with the two previous installments of the Dirty Laundry series, I just wanted more. Here's to hoping Ms. Glass and Ms. Kelley decide to continue the series (and perhaps revisit the characters we've already seen). Everyone has to do laundry, right?
I was a little surprised at this story. It seemed like Vivi kept having second thoughts and worrying about Cade taking her husband Grant from her, but she never voiced her issues even after figuring out that they had messed around while she was not home. And Grant seemed a little shady to me... supposedly he really loved his wife, but he messed around with Cade while she was out, and he didn't talk to her about it, and he told Cade that Vivi gave him permission which I don't remember reading in the book. But in the end he seemed to be more interested in having sex with Cade than his wife. And Cade was supposed to be attracted to Vivi and Grant, and I think somewhere he said he loved them both, but he yelled out during his orgasm that he loved Grant. I guess in the end since Vivi was ok with everything, and they all ended up together then it shouldn't bother me, but I just felt like the ending was vague, and I am worried for Vivi even if she isn't worried herself.

Coming Clean is a short read but boy o boy does it pack an erotic punch. I had read so many great reviews on this book I had to beg/plead with Netgalley to send a copy for review.
I was not disappointed! After Vicki shares with her husband Grant, that she has always fantasized about having a threesome with his best friend Cade they decide to enact this fantasy.
I liked how the author approached this ménage, Grant a straight guy isn't going to jump right into Cade's pants, the tension of how these two become more sexual might cause you to overheat. I liked how the author focused on Grant and Cade's initial sexual interaction because let's be honest that's the fun part, right?
Coming Clean is a short read that really packs in the sexual tension and passion that is what I look for in an erotic romance.
I loved this quick read; it's hot, hot, hot. Menage stories are one of my favorites, especially M/M/F stories and even better when the guys have been friends for years but never acknowledged their attraction to one another.
Grant and Vivi have a great marriage but aren't afraid to push the limits. Grant wants to help Vivi fulfill her fantasy of a threesome with their best friend Cade. Cade is bisexual and has secretly been in love with Cade since they were teens. Cade loves to dance with Vivi and he feels a very strong connection to her as well. I love how the story unfolds. The author's dedication seems to indicate that this story has a special meaning for her and that made it even more special to read.
There are three words to describe this book - HOT, HOT, and HOT! This was one of the first books I downloaded to my new Kindle from NetGalley. I read it in one sitting. Hotness aside (and remember this book is HOT) there is a lot of emotional stuff going on too. I loved the way each character was really thinking about how their actions were going to impact their relationships with one another. This wasn’t just sex for fun. The dynamics between these three are fantastically written and I will be buying more from this author.
An erotic novella about a couple m arried ten years and very open with each other about their sexual fantasies. Now the Mrs. wants a menage and specifically with her husband's best friend--a man for whom her hubby has cherished an old attraction when they were young teens. Now it is out in the open and their friendship could be at risk, the marriage could be at risk, etc. It is an easy read but there is lots of hot-ness and lots of emotion. I think they are all thoughtful and caring people. VEry well written.
I had my doubts about this book because to be honest, I've never read a menage involving a married couple and the idea of it made me slightly uncomfortable with how I could enjoy this book. But wow. Inez Kelley can seriously write. This novella is insanely full of deep emotion and insight and so much of it just felt "right" for the characters. Which is really the difference between good and bad writing with any menege. These characters and their story just felt natural and because of how stellar this book is, Inez is on my auto-buy list!
Maybe I'll write something more detailed later. Suffice to say it's an unremarkable m/m/f novella. Not bad, but not great. Either it needed to give more page time to the emotions and relationships or it needed to forget the HEA and just be erotica. There wasn't enough substance to sustain a romance, but it wasn't torrid enough for straight-up erotica.
I will admit that the ballroom dancing scene was original and scorching hot. If only there had been more sexual tension like that.
This was hot! What a great story. Guys were best friends since childhood, had one intimate moment and let it go. The best friend is bi, the married one isn't. The wife was introduced to the husband by the best friend but there's always been loads of chemistry between the best friend and the wife. Bottom line...this was a great story with lots of sexual tension and really hot sex scenes. There's some MF, MM, and MMF and really great characters for such a short story.
Yes, it's a menage. They have been best friends for a long time. So it's about sex when they start but they realize it's more than that. It was hot and sweet at the same time. The characters are great and although it's a short story, it feels like you are getting to know them. I knew it would be like this. It' s Inez Kelley after all!
If you want to read more from this author, try Turn It Up. It's worth it!
