Lipstick Dom combines the 2005 previously released novel Rainbow Heart and its never before release sequel, Trying to Hide a Rainbow.

Echo Kelly has a secret only her diary knows about. But when her younger sister discovers her in an uncompromising position, she uses the information as blackmail, making her world a living hell. Her burden grows when she falls in love with her best friend who is all about money, which Echo doesn’t have. After being rejected from her mother and first love, Echo goes away to find herself, resurfacing years later as a powerful drug boss with an insatiable sexual drive. Before long her BFF returns, married to a dangerous man with ulterior motives. Soon old feelings from the past bubble to the surface and Echo finds herself caught between two loves. One who is passive aggressive and the other who would do anything to maintain Echo’s heart, including kill. Lipstick Dom is for ladies who love ladies and T. Styles’ fans who appreciate a drama filled love story.

This contents of this book was definitely not what I expected. It kept me enthralled and intrigued from the very first page. T Styles delivered not only chapter after chapter of twists and turns but entwined a few characters from her other books and made this a page turner

T.Styles is an amazing writer and author!

This novel is about a young girl turned drug lord and business woman Echo Kelly. Echo is dealing with her sexuality and is tired of hiding who she really is. She has accepted the fact that she is gay and wants everyone who knows her to understand that she is gay and it wont change.

Echo soon discovers a lot about her self her family and her friends, and soon get a few new enemies at the same cost.

Echo is a very powerful person with people of all kinds trying to hurt her in the process.

Echo will do anything to show people she is not changing herself for anything or anyone, due to her sexuality.

With all the ups and downs Echo has gone through she finds out who really is her true family and friends and will do anything for the true ones who really care about her as well as hold her down.

I loved that LSD had a few cameos such as Bambi from the Pretty Kings series, and Goon from the novel "Goon".
with the twists and turns LSD had to offer this turned out to be a great novel.

5++++ STARS!!!

I like the way T. styles incorporates characters from her other series.
This one had a lot going on... A LOT. Characters with mental illness, back stories of mistakenly killing childhood friends. Nasir's mother managed to run a successful empire with her weird issues? Aspen's murder. Sapphire/Harper's plastic surgery (meanwhile Taja knew her right away. But she tormented Echo and she didn't?) Nasir/Sapphire/Harper are cousins. Mariah's father and incest. HIV, homophobia.
Sometimes jumping years down the road work. In this case it doesn't. At least not for me. The characters weren't fleshed out. During one of the characters conversation about being a lesbian would have been a nice time to kind of educate people subtly. It didn't have to be deep. It's not a deep book. The constant repetition of how "fine" Echo was. I don't know.
It was was entertaining for what it was though.
2.5 stars.

Lawd have mercy! T. Styles brought it to the readers with this amazing love story between two women;best friends that are pulled in different directions for a number of reasons. One is afraid to be who she is, because of ridicule and fear of rejection; the other for the love of money. They go thru life and all of its trial and tribulations, only to end up together in the end. The timing of this book could not be more perfect for what is going on in society today. No matter what you believe…love is love! I thoroughly enjoyed this book and my hat goes off to T. Styles! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Smooches Baby! (3.5 stars)

The contrast between part 1 and part 2 are noticeable to me. Part one seems a tad bit amateurish. The transitions into different scenes seems rushed and unprepared. I feel like a lot of the scenes, if not all, could've been more descriptive and smooth. There are some grammar mistakes as usual, but also, I feel like part one is very Mama T. In some cases that's not a bad thing, but in this case it isn't. I feel like I have read Taja, Echo, Harper, Aspen, Mariah, and whoever else I'm forgetting to mention a few times in other novels that T. Styles has been under this name and her aliases.

Part two is better though. Although the grammar mistakes are still present, the transition between scenes and chapters were flawless and more smooth. Again, part two is typical Mama T., but it's a little more enjoyable. I like how Mama T. incorporated one of her characters into this novel without giving anything away in case the reader hasn't read the book. There are some predictable moments, but there are also some moments that had me surprised. Things that weren't answered in part one is answered in part two, and I'm grateful for that. I'm a male that doesn't have a taste for the opposite sex, but some of the woman-on-woman scenes are kinda hot lol. I reckon I understand why a dildo was never used.

If I was to score both parts separately....part one would get three stars and part two would receive four stars.

Lipstick Dom

Every time I read a T Styles book, I have to remind myself not to be prejudiced towards the book and not love the book because I love her books. With Lipstick Dom, I felt so many different emotions.

As a mother, I honestly don't know how I would react if my child was living such a tortured and conflicted life as Echo did. No spoilers but to have to grow into your own at such a young age and to have so many people against you had to be hard as hell.

Having read the original book Rainbow Heart, I can definitely say I saw the growth and maturity from Miss Styles' pen. While I enjoyed the original, the remastered version blew me completely away. It was absolutely amazing. The characters complemented each other. Tons of jealousy and drama. A few honorable mentions of other characters. One can't go wrong picking up this story!!

When I first started reading this book I was like what is this book going to be about. I see where Mama T was going do I kept reading. I just knew she won't steer me wrong and got damn it I wasn't wrong. Echo was something else she took whatever she had to do and she handle her damn business. When I read about the other characters from other books I was like get your shit T. Styles. This book was good all the way through. When you read this book you will understand why I only took me one day to read it. 5 star banger for real.
