Katie was turning 30 and so very unhappy with the way her life was going. She had a great business and a very sweet guy in her life, but there was one problem. He was just to young. So, she decided to dump him. Yeah, that's really not going to happen. :) Just before she falls asleep she wishes she had met Dustin when they were younger. Happy Birthday! She got her wish. When Katie wakes, she's no longer in her time but in a future, where her and Dustin are married. From that night on when she falls asleep she starts to travel. She's never sure where she may end up. She goes to the future and the past and even stops by the present some times. Along the way things start changing but one thing is always the same. Dustin! He is never far from her, whether they are a couple or just meeting for the first time. The Author did a fantastic job with these characters. I absolutely loved Dustin and Katie! Heck, I absolutely loved this book. I cannot wait to sink my teeth into Dustin's Turn.

I read Dustin Time years ago but somehow never wrote a review! If you love a good romance, I'd recommend this, but if you also love time travel then you HAVE to read this! Katie is a relatable character who's concerned about her future, and whether she can even have a future with her younger boyfriend. When she begins time-traveling, the only constant in her life is him, and it gives hope to those of us who may not do things "by the book", but still want happiness. As a woman with a much younger husband, I appreciate that!

Kaitlyn thinks she is happy with her life, other than needing to replace her current boyfriend, who she thinks is too young for her. On her thirtieth birthday she starts time hopping back and forth and the only constant is Dustin. As she tweaks things in the past, then comes back to check up on them, she learns who he is and how she can' t live without him. Every time I thought she had things figured out she would jump again! Fun read; glad I won it as a first reads!

Page Turner!

This clever and unusual story had my interest from the beginning. The love story between Katie and Dustin continued through all of the time travel. The writer's style and humor kept me involved and turning pages!

I rated this book 5 stars...and I promise not just because I know the author! What I AM doing, mainly because I know the author and am an aspiring author myself, and the writing community is a very close family, is writing this review. The truth is, I'm no good at reviews. But this, being Ms. Kramin's first published novel, deserves to be read, and I need to pass that along to as many as possible!

DUSTIN TIME throws an interesting and fun twist on time travel. Katie runs a successful veternary clinic in a small town, and on her 30th Birthday, she's determined to break up with her boyfriend Dustin. Dustin is only 26 and a playful man-boy who, to Katie, takes nothing seriously and has no ambition. For her, the best thing about him is the amazing sex. She's ready to start searching for something real, someone to be the father of her children, someone she can grow old with. In short, as she's turning 30, she takes stock of her life and decides she's ready, finally, to settle down. She knows there's no way Dustin is at that point in his life and feels she may be holding him back.

The morning after celebrating her 30th with Dustin, Katie wakes up still in his arms...but in another time. Over the course of the next several weeks, every time Katie falls asleep in Dustin's arms, she wakes up in another time and place. Whether she's in the past or in the future, Dustin's there. Quickly Katie learns that there's more to Dustin than the old car with unreliable heat and silly pet names suspiciously named after all types of food. As she tries to figure out what in her life has caused this inexplicable time travel, she unwittingly begins changing the future. Can she fix what's wrong in her life...before she loses Dustin for good?

This is a fun book. It's just fun. Dustin's sense of humor is great contrast to Katie's slightly more serious personality. He reminds me of my husband, and of what I think most men are deep inside - playful children. Come on ladies - you know it too. No matter how intelligent, ambitious, and/or successful your man is, admit that underneath it all, he's a sexually driven teenage boy who loves to make you laugh. And that's one of the reasons you love him! It's the same reason you'll love Dustin.

And every woman who has turned that milepost at 30 can sympathize with Katie. I, myself, just turned 30 this year, and it devestated me a bit. Though I have everything I've ever wanted (minus the writing agent), it was crazy to suddenly be out of my twenties. Suddenly, according to society, I was truly an adult. It makes you look back and wonder if you've done everything you could have, if you've made the right decisions. For most of us, this means a couple days of contemplation before going back to the regularly scheduled program. For Katie, this meant having the opportunity to make changes that effect not only her life, but the lives of those she loves.

Who wouldn't love that chance?

Hunter’s Review

Kaitlyn wakes up on her thirtieth birthday (though she insists its 29. LOL) and has great sex with her friend and sometimes sex partner, Dustin. They’re not serious about each other, even though they’ve been ‘dating’ for a long time. At the end of the day, as she thinks about her life, Kaitlyn decides she really wants more out of life and muses aloud that while she and Dustin have to break up because at her current age she needs more than ‘I like you’ if she’s going to have a family, she wishes they had met earlier and differently.

The next morning she’s gotten what she wishes for. She wakes up in her room—but it’s different, Dustin is there, they are married, and they have a baby girl Ali. Kaitlyn loves this reality but at the end of the day when she goes to sleep—boom—she’s back to her previous existence—then that that night—boom she’s back in college meeting Dustin but differently that she did in her first reality.

Kaitlyn travels through times finding things that have gone wrong and then travelling back to the time when she can fix them. All of these travels do have a downside (I don’t want to give this away) and it ends up being very emotional.

I really enjoyed this book immensely and I thought it was very, very well written. One complaint. Initially, when Kaitlyn meets Ali and sees her alternative future she makes a big decision to seek that future and we are not given, in my opinion, enough Dustin in that time to justify her fast change and adoration. But, we get a lot of him later and certainly he is a great hero.

I think readers who enjoy Time Travel stories, as I do, will love this book.

This was my first time reading anything by June Kramin and I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed this sweet story.Ms Kramin has given us a story that will suck us in and keep us there from start to finish ,and then will leave us wanting more from this author. This is Kaitlyn sweet story. Katie is turning 30 ,but at the same time she's thinking that she happy with her life. But she thinking she needs to replace her boy friend ,because he's she totally believes that he's to young. So Katie has decided to dump him. But that night just before falling to sleep she wishes that Dustin and her meet when there were younger.Wow oh my ! her wish came true, The next day when Katie awakes she's in another time and in a different future. but to her surprise her and Dustin are married. But every night after the wish, when she fall to sleep she begins to travel in time. But she can''t tell where she might end up, she just keeps traveling one time to the future and then to the past, and then even to the present time .But as time went along things began to change, but there's one thing that always stay the same. Will she realize what that one thing is that don't change ? Each time she wakes up he's always there beside her.It doesn't matter when or what she does he's just there single or a couple he's with her. These characters were just awesome and the author wrote these characters amazingly .I could tell you more about this touching story, but that would spoil it for you. I highly recommend that you read this touching story, you won't be disappointed.

I will be honest. At first... this is a little wobbly. Too many sentences begin with She. She did this. She did that. And then she did some more stuff. But hang in there. It quickly gets past the first two chapters and that is no longer an issue. I adore Dustin. I wanted to go through the pages of the book and strangle the female character at times, cuz he's such a doll. I understood her hang ups, I've never been a gal who understood hooking up with a younger dude, unless it's just for kicks and giggles. Kait must feel the same way because she can't get rid of him, but thinks she has to sos he can find daddy material. The problem is, Dustin won't be shaken loose. She tries to dump him in several different time lines, hell, she tells him just to go home and lay off for a few hours and there he is; in her face talkin' 'bout Destiny. Except for when he's not himself and a bit of a jerk. I was right there with her, bouncing around between the time lines, just wishing it could stop and the poor girl could catch her breath. But no. Time keeps screwing with our star crossed lovers. And I kept turning the pages. A really good sexy romance and a very taught story. I understand there is going to be a sequel. I'm gonna be all over that.

Kaitlyn is a veterinarian with her own practice and is happy with her current boy-toy Dustin Andrews who is 5 years younger then her. On her 30th birthday Kaitlyn decides she needs to break up with Dustin but things don`t go as planned as Dustin believes that they are meant to be.

When Kaitlyn wakes up she finds herself in her past and begins various time changes that keep placing her at different times in her life with the only constant being Dustin. As she learns more about their love she realizes where she wants to be but has she changed the past so much that it has affected their future?

I really liked this book and found I was good with all of the time changes in the book and honestly felt so bad for Kaitlyn as she seemed to miss so much of her own life by jumping around.

I really loved Dustin and how devoted he was to Kaitlyn at every point in the story and he had such a great personality. I loved the countless events that involved cinnamon!!

I also really enjoyed the strength that the two of them had with their support for each other! They were happy no matter where they were as long as they were together.

Such a great story about age truly just being a number.

This is sweet, clean romance (though the couple is quite frisky, their encounters are romantic rather than graphic) features lots of authentic dialog and solid characterization I’ve come to expect from June Kramin. Dustin is a true hero, steady and sexy. The author does a great job of putting you in Kaitlyn’s head. You feel her confusion, pain, and frustration as she fights to figure out what’s going on and why. The conflict is less between the two leads than with the situation. Kaitlyn gets pretty frustrated never knowing at what time in her life she’ll wake up, but I never felt that “Groundhog Day” annoyance, and the days aren’t repeated. She travels back in her life, which made it a different and refreshing contemporary read for me. I enjoyed the paranormal element. Questions a curious reader is bound to ask (like whether she wakes up in a younger body, and how the anomalies affect others) were answered just about when I was asking them myself.

June Kramin has encouraged me to do what few authors of romance -- paranormal or not -- have done: Make me read an entire romance novel. Her characters are vivid and real, without the syrupy quality present in so many novels of this genre. The dialog is sharp, and you can almost hear the characters speaking it. Time travel, especially with as many time jumps as are present in this novel, can be confusing, but Kramin handles it with such skill that you're never jolted out of the story by the twists. The story, characters, and overall writing grabbed me, and I read the entire novel in one sitting. Definitely a recommended read.

Dustin Time is a well earned 4.5 stars. I loved this book so much, I stayed up until 1 am just to finish it. When Katie tries to break up with her boy toy Dustin, the universe. (either that or a man named Frank) schemes to keep them together by sending Katie to an alternate future where Dustin and she are married and have a little baby girl. But then she falls asleep, and wakes up in another alternate reality. Katie must choose which Dustin she is meant to be with, or if he is with being with at all. The characters are strong and lovable, I promise you that you will not be able to put it down.

I wasn't quite sure when I started this book. Then, I got into it, then I couldn't stop. I felt like a nosy intruder poking about the two main character's lives. I wondered, also, how June Kramin didn't end up confused with all the time leaps in the book. I began to lose track, but it all sort of worked well, weaving nicely together that it made sense. Great read, and thanks June!

A really unique, fun romance novel. June's debut novel, Dustin Time has believable characters, believable supernatural elements and is really great fun. I heartily recommend this book. And in fact, told so many of my friends about it, in real life, that June sold about 15 books to people I know. :)

Contemporary Romance I didn't like this book, Kaitlyn is unlikeable throughout the Story. It's hard to imagine someone being given a chance to relive 5 years of their life and not being thankful for a second chance to get it right. Completely lacking in depth. When will I learn not to trust a high average rating when there are so few ratings posted?

I enjoyed this book that i received as an arc. I usually do not like or read books about time travel but this was enjoyable. It is about a couple with an age difference who are in love but she is not so sure it will work out. It was easy to keep interested in this book and I was interested until the end.
