Saskia is British by birth, but because of her parent's nomadic tendencies she grew up traveling the globe--an only child with a serious book habit. She dreamed of being a writer since the age of 12 and finally began writing seriously in the late 1990s.
Saskia's short stories have now been published in over one hundred international anthologies and magazines including Cosmo, and Bust. In the noughties Saskia started working on longer projects and since then her novels have been published by Penguin and Harlequin as well as other publishing houses. To her absolute delight two of her novels won Passionate Plume awards and her work has twice been nominated for an Romantic Times Magazine Reviewers' Choice Award. Her Witches of Scotland series was widely translated and became a Scandinavian bestseller. In 2015 she became a USA TODAY bestselling author. It's been an amazing journey! Saskia is now a full time author and she has many more stories to tell.
Saskia lives in the north of England, on the beautiful, windswept landscape of the Yorkshire moors, with her real life hero, Mark. Mark supports her work through all its ups and downs, and manages to keep her sane and grounded when fiction threatens to take over.
Annabel McGraw is searching for a home but most villages are suspicious of a woman travelling alone when there are witches about. It’s 1705 and witchcraft is a hanging offence. She manged to get a job at the inn for food and board, but has delayed moving on as she is fascinated by a local man, Ewan Findlay. He and some others come to the inn to question her. She panics for a moment but Ewan wants something else. Her. *** Talia Hibbert was on Twitter trying to find this story, and the description was so batshit I just had to read it when another person linked to it. [who knew Harlequin had quick reads searchable by the available time you have to read???] Pilgrim nature sex witches in Scotland… I guess. Not bad… 3 stars
eHarlequin.com free read from Spice - chapters too short, couldn't suspend belief, things didn't jive well. While this one has more detail than others from Spice there is still a glossing over of things.

Not quite what you expect from the introduction, but what can you excpect from a short story freebie. We shall see if the other Scottish witches have more what they promise.
I very much enjoyed this erotic read. The sex was hot, the characters were steamy, and the plot was intriguing. I can't wait to read this book's sequel Rampant.
