Re-read this because I have been tinkering with my workflow set up and this involves going from org-mode in amacs to PDF files via LaTeX and I needed to refresh my memory of some basic LaTeX for the template. It is short enough with a few examples to get a good primer on the basics again.

A very good overview of the LaTeX system. Although this can be considered just a pamphlet, it gets you running with LaTeX quicker than anything I've found online.
