Just when Carlie decides she's done with dangerous men, she's thrown right back into the fire by Kirk, her manipulative and deceitful new lover. Not even the diamonds and extravagant gifts can keep the tension from rising when Carlie realizes that Kirk's sleazy side kick will do any and everything to steal her man - even if it means extortion.
The plot thickens when Devon, Carlie's drug dealing ex-boyfriend decides he wants Carlie back and will take no for an answer. Before Devon can woo Carlie with his bad boy personality, he realizes that Kirk has put his woman in jeopardy with the law. im choosing to read this book because i have read the first one. Bruised the first book was full of surprises and it was a great book. As soon as my friend told me that there was a Bruised2 i went to some book stores and try o find it. They did not have it but i am still on the search for that book.

Not as good as the first one, after all that Carlie went through, the ending was very upsetting.

She has to learn that men are only out to use and abuse her. But when someone really loves her how can she be so sure when that old person hurt her the most?

This story was all over the place. And for the life of me I can’t understand how Carly was so smart yet so dumb. But I guess love will make you do crazy things. The ending was very unpredictable and I’m not sure how I feel about it. But one thing for certain, Davon got his due diligence.
