ALISON SWEENEY "SAMI"
Wonderful book but I would have liked to see more pictures from the 45 years the show was on and not so much on a "day in the life" part which took up most of the book.
Another DOOL book that's been in my personal library probably since its publication in 2010. It was fun seeing pictures of cast present and past, and I enjoyed the behind-the-scenes photos. However, I would have liked all of the photos to have captions.
This book fulfilled the 2026 PopSugar prompt #16 - A book less than 260 pages.
My mother has been watching this Soap Opera since I was a fetus. I know more about Salem than anyone should ever admit to. This was a pretty cool look behind the scenes at the show. I enjoyed the trip down memory lane.I loved seeing the pictures of Mr. & Mrs. Horton and Maggie over the 45 years.
Nice, but I thought more explanation would have been nice. I think the Day in the Life was taken when Alice's funeral was filmed and it seemed like it could have been mentioned or the returning stars.
It made me want to watch days of our lives! I definitely wish it was more a historical account of the crazy shit they did - like Marlena being possessed, Carly being buried alive... That's the kind of plots that made me want to be a soap opera writer!
