This book started out with the apartments building that both Bailey and Cade shared as neighbors being blown up. Cade saved Bailey’s life. Bailey wanted to go to the police like most of us would. Cade wanted to find out who was behind it. Against bailey’s wishes they set out to find the person responsible. Before their home was leveled by a bomb, the two annoyed each other, fought, and did not like the other. Bailey had a fighting spirit. Throughout the book it’s fun to see that opposites can attract. They were both funny at moments, and the action is intense. Who was behind the bombing was a surprise. I really enjoyed this book. If I was ever in trouble I would want Cade on my side!

She was running on pure adrenaline, with little to hold her up beyond that. “All you need to know is that you’re crazy about me.” His eyes glinted dangerously, but a smile hovered on his lips. “I don’t think so.” “You’re full of pixie dust, Tinker Bell.” He let loose a full-powered grin then. “You admitted the first week I moved in that I rock your world. No sense going into denial now.” “I said you’re as hardheaded as a rock.” She responded. They’d had that conversation when he had backed over her favorite garden flag.
