Come on, give in to the temptation. You know you want to…

Between a Ridge and a Hard Place
Tired of being ignored by her boss, Morgan steps it up—and strips down. The ploy works even better than she expected. Ridge whisks her to his place before the vixen he’s long lusted after has a chance to change her mind. Then he discovers there’s a mole planted in his company. Is Morgan the woman he’s been waiting for? Or a corporate saboteur?

Bridging the Gap
Carter doesn’t do permanent…until he’s burning up the sheets with a woman who could change his mind. Except she’s holding something back. Ryan has never let anything, not even her epilepsy, stop her from making it in the construction business. Until she discovers she’s sleeping with the designer of her next project. And someone intent on destroying it takes aim at her back.

To the Max
Once security expert Max spies Jordan wrapped around a silver pole, keeping his mind on his job becomes a big problem. Despite her wealthy family’s objections, Jordan is focused on her dream of opening a dance studio. Yet once alone, their inhibitions disappear faster than their clothes. Then someone breaks into her house, making her wonder who he’s working for…

Warning: Contains graphic sex, a little spanking on an OCD-clean desk, a rogue set of pencils that just won’t stay where they’re told, sweet loving in a tub…and a stubbed toe. You’ll have to read on to find out why that’s sexy.

I love This author so so much!!

Mckenna never disappoints. I love the characters she creates, and although each story is not long, they pack a whallop.

If you enjoy Erotica, Graphic romance and steamy sex scenes, you’ll love her books.

It doesn’t matter how many times I read her books, I enjoy the new characters and situations. Her writing style make them easy reading, fun, lighthearted and just perfect for a coffee break. Although in all honesty.... I can never read just one!!

That makes this trilogy even better. All three in one place!! Perfect 😍😍

There really isn’t more to say!! If you like the genre, but haven’t read her books, you SHOULD!

Three short stories with some hot sex but not enough story or character development.

These are short stories so there’s no time for that. In each story there is a bad guy doing something that is revealed, solved, and dealt with quickly. It was too empty for me. That’s why I try to avoid short stories.

The guys are totally alpha. The sex is good. Sex scenes for all three stories include a little spanking and rear door activity.

BETWEEN A RIDGE AND A HARD PLACE.
Morgan desired her boss for months. One day she dresses provocatively which turns him on. They have hot sex. Afterwards she says she has to go somewhere but she won’t tell him where. Someone has been selling company secrets. Ridge suspects Morgan because she wouldn’t tell him where she went. At the end of the book, we still don’t know. That was not good. The bad guy is quickly found and confesses. It was too quick.

BRIDGING THE GAP.
Ryan (female) and Carter meet and have a hot and heavy affair. Then their paths cross at work. There’s a guy doing bad things. That part of the story was too quickly resolved. I wanted more story.

TO THE MAX.
Max is a PI who sees Jordan teaching a pole dancing class. Max lusts after her and follows her. They get together for hot steamy sex. Here again there is a bad guy doing something and it gets quickly resolved.

So pleased to stumble across this whilst looking for another of Ms Mackenna’s books. This is not the original series title I have.
1 - BETWEEN A RIDGE AND A HARD PLACE
Enjoyable easy read with likeable characters apart from Amy the office nasty.
Will be reading Carters book next.
Had read and reviewed this book many years ago. My reviews have disappeared but it is no hardship to reread.
2 - BRIDGING THE GAP
A really enjoyable story with a very good plot line.
Likeable characters and I loved that Morgan and Ridge had their baby.
So silly what Tad did.
Had read and reviewed this book many years ago. My reviews have disappeared but it is no hardship to reread.
3 - TO THE MAX
Really loved this one and didn’t want it to end. Great characters in Jordan and Max.
Found their respective similar backgrounds amusing.
Had read books 1&2 many years ago so was pleased to find the book set with Max’s story in it.

This here is a quick, entertaining collection of short stories. Each one has a balanced mix of appealing characters (with yummy alphas, of course); engrossing, if slightly simplistic, plots; and hot, frequent sex. Of the three, I enjoyed Bridging the Gap and To the Max most. This is a great book if you don't want to deal with super heavy emotional or convoluted plots. Fun read! 4 stars.
