Ah, this book completely meets my sewing interests. Sewing with a pattern? Constraining and boring. This book teaches you how to make your own patterns. On my second item so far, I'm already waxing more creative and having lots of fun with it.

I've made many patterns using the directions in this book. When my granddaughter got an 18-inch girl doll a few Christmases ago, I used it to make doll clothes patterns. I've just finished reading it all the way through for ideas I might have missed.
