His plan is Melt the Earth with the lava from its own core and snuff out all life. Simple, right? Wrong!Luanne, Heatheria, and the rest of the family-turned-team know about this plan, so for insurance, Nightshroud captures Iris, the Guardian of the Light, and turns her into one of his Four Horsemen—the Angel of Death. Along with the foster family of a reluctant disempowered Fairy, they are ordered to defend the Doomsday weapon built to destroy the Earth—even if it means their destruction.Only the power of the Ark of Protection holds the secret to the ultimate energy of the Chosen One, known only as a "Rainbow Fairy"—but can this Chosen One stand up to a super-sized Nightshroud and help the Fellowship complete their quest once and for all?

About the author

Charles A. Johnson is the younger of two children born to an Alabama-oriented family.

While growing up, Charles displayed incredible cognitive abilities beyond his years and proved his intellect had grown so much when his second-grade teacher had him promoted to third grade early in the elementary-school year.

Charles also has a talent for writing, and started professionally when he learned of BooksByBookends. Using their business (which has moved to several points in the Tri-State Area until it settled down in Brooklyn), he has published the "Princess Luanne and Wizard Heatheria" series.

The main characters in Charles’s book series—Princess Luanne and Heatheria Winchester (he decided on the names while playing with several large action figures)—reflect Charles’s personality in a way, as both he and they wanted changes in their lives.
