I really enjoyed this short tale of a lion shifter named none other than Leonessa! She was a natural healer from childhood. The tale is that of love and romance and what is meant to be. Soulmates can never be denied and neither can we escape our destiny.

Lance and Leonessa were drawn to each other through a powerful force. Years of separation could not prevent their union. The universe is a powerful entity that one must listen to. I loved the action and intrigue of this story. Even the betrayal was epic. The HEA was just what this story needed. Though it was short, this story was powerful.

I cute love story

I enjoyed reading this book. Lance and Leonessa had fallen in love as children. Meet again as adults. I wish the story was longer.

A good idea and quite unique for a Paranormal Shifter Romance. I would have liked to have seen more if the bigger picture, especially the politics between the tribes and how the younger generation was breaking out of traditions. As it stands, it's a bit of a confusing read, but I found it worthwhile nonetheless.

I wanted to enjoy this book, but only read up to chapter three. I couldn’t stomach the rest of the story. It seemed to be written as a children’s fable, which would have been more plausible. But as a novel for adults, nope.
