Runner's World Best: Injury-Free Running assembles the most reliable information on running pain- and injury-free--and speeding up the rehabilitation process by using the latest medical advances to treat common injuries. Runners of every ability will benefit from the book's wealth of expert tips on training, stretching, selecting proper equipment, and maintaining correct running form.
Another very helpful and informative book from Runner's World. There is a huge list of common injuries/ailments that rear their heads when it comes to running. And basically just about everything can be prevented with warming up before running and stretching out afterwards. Of course it breaks down the anatomy of the injury and how to treat them. The motto of the book is to listen to your body.
CLEARLY old, but still had some good tips- I had just read all of it in other places before, so there just wasn't anything new. But if I had one of these specific injuries it would be an quick way to flip to the right page and read about it!
