This was great stuff.
Journals and images bring frances wars to life.
The horrible winters.
In many ways they won.
They geared for war.
It just was impossible to take over.
Hereditary lines or national desire.
Diffrent cultures struggle to unite.
To be in a blue trench coat.
Invade smolensk or to enter moscow and march.
Dignity and honer in being a soldier.
