I heart Dakota Trace and I bow down to her ability to create such a short, rich, hot story. I enjoyed the banter between Hunter and Dre. I also enjoyed the small twist on the fairy tale Little Red Riding Hood. This story would have been entirely different if Dakota Trace went even a slightly different way than she did. I think she executed this story perfectly and with just the perfect amount of fairy tale nuance here and there.
Never Cry Wolf is one of the hottest novellas I have read in awhile. It has a BDSM edge that is just enough for an average reader and just enough for a BDSM enthusiast. I think Dre and Hunter are two unique characters and shoving them together the way Dakota Trace chose was hot and amazing.
The plot of Never Cry Wolf is perfectly paced. The sensuality is hot and off the charts and the characters are easily characters a reader could grow to love given the time. As I said, I heart Dakota Trace and will always be watching for more of her work.
