Fascinating historical record, with remarkable insights into Kung's journey. Worth it for the single, chilling story of the young German's Papal audience, and of the fellow German - Joseph Ratzinger - who went in next... King had re-shaped theology in our age. At times I have found insights in his writings from 50 years ago that resonate now with issues our churches are facing. Stimulating. Challenging. Exhilarating.
