Took me half a year to finish this book 😂 I definitely am not as horse crazy as I was when I started this book. This was just a good book to read when I started to learn how to ride horses last year. Nothing serious. 😃
It says it’s for girls, and packed with loads of information I can’t even remember all of it. But it’s a great resource for all horse fanatics out there.
I LOVE this book!!! I am SOOO horse crazy and a lot of things in the book, I knew but this is my go-to if I need more horse facts!! It is so good and has many things that all horse crazy girls should know! The only thing that would make it better is if it were Christian, but that's ok. It is still an awesome book!
Great book. All the facts about horses anyone could ever need. Really interesting and just the perfect horsey book!! Not just for girls either! It's all good solid info and A LOT of it. I learned so much from this book. Recommend to anyone with an interest in horses.
This is a nice, short book. I remember horse obsessed me reading this over and over in 5th grade. Actually, this might have been my favorite book at the time. I liked the little horse pictures, and I especially was interested in ways on how to get free riding lessons 😂 (which, as you might be thinking, did not work). While this book is definitely not my reading level now, it's fun to look back on it. The illustrations are cute and it offers helpful tips, horse care, games, and crafts. However, I do remember that I was not especially interested in the crafts (unless they were about Breyer models), because it's clear that some are meant for very young children, the kind that you make but never look at again. My other problem was that some words were in pink, and it sometimes had an overly girly design, which sometimes irritated me. I'd recommend this for ages 7-10, since it might be too easy or childish to read for older ages.
Amazing book. Alot of information on horses presented in a layout appealing to kids. I would recommend book to anyone who is interested in horses. My students loved it also.
