I bought this book for my photographer husband to use during our trip to the Oregon Coast. While the organization wasn't great (we were always searching for the sections that talked about our latest location), it gave some great tips for places to take photos. We also have this book to thank for one of our favorite parts of the trip -- it suggested a hike to out-of-the-way picturesque Sweet Creek, which wasn't even mentioned in my other guidebooks.
Some pretty good tips in this book about shooting photos on the Oregon Coast, but a somewhat jumbled presentation, with sections of recommendations mixed in awkwardly with the location descriptions. Also could have used a lot more maps and photos of the suggested locations.
Many great photo ops on the coast--just may be difficult to find and visualize them using this book alone!
