This book is an overview of the functions of a corporate treasury department. Its primary utility is basic training in the functions. Its best feature are the examples that include accounting treatment of certain functions like debt issuance and redemption and how to account for derivatives used in hedging operations. There is a whole host of details that are ignored in this book that would be learned on the job.

Very good book. Detailed explanation. It's more US centric but okay for other readers as well.
