Lilliana Dawson is bored, unemployed, and wandering through her life with no real sense of direction. When her uncle, a solicitor, offers her a chance to make a little extra money, she agrees to take an antique map to Norway and deliver it on his behalf.

When she arrives at her destination, though, she finds herself in the presence of a very eccentric woman who is more concerned with dinner than the map she’d demanded be hand delivered. One moment, Lilliana is sitting down to eat the fare, the next, she is lost in a strange land and chained to a wall by a sexy beast of man.

The second son of King Gunnmarr, Benedikt, has spent centuries alone, banished by a witch who wanted to punish his father for his greed. He’s used his time wisely, learning to read and write. But when the beautiful blonde shows up, he’s not sure whether to kill her, or bend her over and have his way with her.

It’s a good thing he has lots of chains in reserve, for whichever decision he makes.

The Sons of Gunnmarr have had a curse set upon them due to the greed of their father. All three have been sent far away, cursed to never die, but to live an endless life of solitude and loneliness. Benedikt, the middle brother has always loved books and reading and has spent his centuries gathering knowledge, but when a beautiful woman unexpectedly shows up, he isn't sure if she is another curse or a blessing.

I know I described Benedikt as almost nerdy in the synopsis, however, apparently cursed viking nerds come with lotsa muscles, chains and a mind kinky enough to make it all work together. A girl can appreciate that. This short erotic novel progresses smoothly from Captured the first in the series as we watch the next brother fall for his soul mate.

I wasn't expecting any surprises and I didn't get any, this was a erotic, paranormal novel, which traveled merrily along a predictable story line. It did intrigue me enough to want to read the third and final in the series involving the youngest brother and hopefully see my poor cursed viking brothers set free.

This one was lacking romance between Benedickt and Lilliana. It was lust, denial, lust. And suddenly at the end they claim to want to be together. The story felt even more rushed and underdeveloped. The only thing that is more clear is the legend and what the brothers will need to do to escape.

Toffer aka Drake aka Christopher hehehe yes all one person loved him and Grace as well. The story/ plot for me was good. Toffee and grace started messaging each other and the relationship started from there. The only thing I will say and this is my opinion I didn't like that it took so long for them to physically see each other most of the communication as I said was through messaging and calling put they were still inventive with the sex though, with me saying that don't let that turn you off. If you like the sub/Dom sex with some romance then this is for you

I liked the studious side of this hero. He is sexy and a sensitive Dom. I liked the fiesty heroine and the addition that she was British was fun. Again, a full-figured gal and that made me smile. I'm excited to read Hunted, the last in the Gunnmarr series.

A quick read, with a quest for an unsuspecting woman needing something more and finding just what she needs. I like Melinda Barrons writing and i hope the next book i read is a bit longer =)
