I'm not sure how this ended up in my "to read" pile, but as I've been working through them, I grabbed it for a trip to Las Vegas. That was just about right. I had no idea it was a Harlequin novel going in, which would normally have been enough to just dump it on a "free book" pile. But on a plane with nothing else to do, well, it got read. It wasn't bad for mindless drivel, the sexy scenes weren't the worst I'd ever read. I did question a 25-year-old virgin, I was aghast at the trope that puts a good girl in slutwear and helps her find the love her life, and the immediate love at first sight thing was really just sort of boring. I like romance stories with a little more meat, no matter how much beefcake. In the end, I left it in a bathroom at BWI with a "free to good home" note on a night when huge storms meant delays and cancellations, so I hope it helped someone endure a tedious airport wait.

Tantalizing by Lori Foster and My Lips Are Sealed by Julie Leto are brought to us by Harlequin. These are two short stories about mis-identities, alpha-males, flings that turn into HEA, lots of sex and humor thrown in here and there. I liked both books but My Lips Are Sealed was the better of the two maybe, because it was more believable.

This is a good book for passing time or just something to read. Good stories, interesting and fun characters, written well and good endings. Not something that will drag you in kicking and screaming, but a nice lazy river kind of read. Good Luck!

I really enjoyed the first book by Lori Foster. The second was actually kind of boring, in my opinion.

I think I've read this first story, "Tantalizing" by Lori Foster, before. It's a story about Josie Jackson whose sister has set her up with yet another staid, boring man who she has dressed up in such a way that would scare the potential suitor off. Unfortunately, he switched places with his business partner (whom Josie's sister incidentally hates) who really, really likes the way Josie looks. They hook up on his dad's boat. Her hoo-ha happnes to be the one his wang-doodle really jives with and not he really wants to spend the rest of his life with her, just as soon as he can reveal his true identity.
"My Lips are Sealed" by Julie Elizabeth Leto has an FBI agent who has worked so hard at her job that she's wholly lacking in personal life getting hot and heavy with a hunky PI who she runs into while he's on an investigation. She helps him track down an eyewitness and sneaks her way into his heart.

Great stories! Lip service is stories about the characters saying they don't want long term because they think the other doesn't want it and come to find out they do. The second story is about a female FBI agent that meets a retired cop at a blind dating bar and the fun begins from there...great reads! So glad I finally got to finish this book!

I only read the Lori Foster short story.

Tantalizing - 2 stars
Not much of a story here, some love at first sight stuff and then hot sex and then more sex and then suddenly everyone is in love. Some cute scenes, funny bits with the elderly people and an annoying sister who just really annoyed.

Quick read. Relationship follows 50 Shades of Grey relationship timeline. He's gorgeous, experienced, a bad boy. She's mousey, a virgin, who doesn't think she's worthy of such a good looking man. Whirlwind romance, marriage, the end.

My rating only reflects the second story in the book. "My Lips are sealed." My rating for Lori Foster's story (Tantalizing) is listed separately since that book was a stand alone title on goodreads and I have a different rating for each story.

I thought this was cute story. I enjoyed the light hearted way it waswritten with a little humor mixed in. It was just short enough to make it a fast happy read. One of Lori Fosters better ones for short stories.
