the book was okay. it was like a dry sandwhich that no one ever wants to eat. it was boring and hard to get into. when i say get into i mean get really interested in or get sucked into. it is about an underground newspaper that a couple of teenagers write, all of them getsuspended for writing the paper and selling it on school grounds. all nof the kids who got suspended decide to sew the school, for violating their rights. freedom of the press is their reason or right that was violated. if you like newspapers then you might like this book but as for me it wasnt that interesting.

I read this book back in grade 6? It was the &0s, that’s all I remember. Was a pretty good read for back then but not sure YA readers nowadays would be into it.

I really liked it. I picked up this book because of the familiar author. I understand why some people said it's hard to figure out, but this book was written in the 80's guys. Keep that in mind when you read. Also, it's more of a book for tweens. Not so much teens. The language is pretty elementary. But other than that it's a quick read. Read it in a few hours. It's not bad, it's just not necessarily good either.
