Vortex of Deception is an electrifying blend of military thriller, science fiction, and high stakes adventure that keeps you hooked from the very first page. The story wastes no time throwing readers into danger, and the intensity never lets up.
Doug Cameron is a compelling, battle hardened protagonist whose special forces background brings authenticity and grit to every action scene. Erin O’Neil provides the perfect counterbalance, smart, resourceful, and relatable, making their reluctant partnership both believable and engaging. Their dynamic adds emotional depth to the nonstop action, and watching Erin adapt to a world of deception, danger, and impossible circumstances is one of the book’s greatest strengths.
Sucks you in and hard to put down, then your mind gets blown. The story has its matrix moment and it really becomes hard to put down. Excellent story, brilliant writing, overall a fine sci-fi addition to any collection.
