British columnist, broadcaster and author.

Between 2003-2010, Dent published eleven young adult novels, and was also a presenter on BBC2's The Culture Show, and a magazine and newspaper journalist, including a TV column for the Guardian.

From 2011 to 2017 she wrote a restaurant column for the Evening Standard, and became the Guardian's restaurant critic in 2018. She is a regular judge on the BBC's MasterChef UK and makes frequent appearances in Channel 4's television series Very British Problems.

Grace said in her role as an author for teens: ‘....kids who claim to have never read anything longer than a text message are ploughing through my books nagging me for the next one. This makes me insanely proud.’

She lives in East London with her husband, who works in the music industry. When she's not writing comedy Grace is to be found 'faffing about on the Internet' or 'faffing about in the garden or kitchen' or 'just 'faffing about generally. "I'm an excellent 'faffer."

This is a really good book about 3 best friends that go through some tough times but still try to keep their heads up and move past all of their problems as a group. Veronica (Ronnie) had a hard breakup, and her grandmother died while trying to get her friendship back together.

Lbd is about two girl's who Ronnie and veronica have just got done with summer but when they go back to school there is a new girl they think she is a witch at first but when they meet her they notice she i s not a witch after she has a birth day party they go to a hotel and become best friends. what I liked about this book was that when they thought she was a witch and they tried a hole bunch of things to see if she was for an example they pored water on her and stalked her.the thing i didn't like about this book is the author didn't get into detail. i recommend this book to people who like comedy, drama, and chick lit.

Not bad, but the cover makes it look as if it is a fun MG. Warning - it is filled with language and situations that are more mature.
