Has Tai gone totally whack? Cher did this major makeover on the girl, transforming her from a Docs-wearing New York nihilist into one fabulously well-groomed Beverly Hills hottie. And what does Tai do? Gives Cher the I'm Audi and blows back to the Big Apple! But Cher's a t.b. friend, and she's off--to rescue Tai from a fate worse than faux fur.
New York has enough attitude and accessories to keep Cher busy for a lifetime. But the people are buggin'. Like, the taxi drivers, they talk, like, this totally foreign language. Anyway, she's got Josh, a major Baldwin, waiting for her back in Beverly Hills, so it's "Earth to Tai, Earth to Tai. . . ." This could get ugly. Almost as bad as a bad hair day!
Honestly? I kinda like loved this. Totally fab, silly, hilArious at points, totally excessive and stuffed with Betties and Baldwins in NYC. unreal story and juSt ridiculous and ridiculously entertaining. SO 90s, SO clueless. Love Ya Cher, De and Tai. Not so much love for you, Josh
I was a bit apprehensive because the first book in my opinion didn't live up to the movie but this book was surprising good! I admire how the author made it her own but still have the same essance of the original screenplay. It was amazing!
The book really plays on josh and Cher characters and highlight how different they are too eachother. But to see them both TRY to make the relationship WORK regardless was beautiful to see.
SPOILER I didn't like how Cher literally cheated on josh and had an obsession over another guy and it wasn't brought up again but Di made a comment about it. I mean all throughout the book Cher was accusing josh of cheating when it was her 😂😂😂😂 really stupid but whatever.
Great book, amazing and heartfelt plot and gives depth into Cher character and the friendship between tai, Cher and dione. Amazing!
