BABIRUSA: All You Need To Know About Babirusa

The babirusa has been classified "a wild pig with a dental issue." They have exceptional tusks or canine teeth that can develop straight up through the skin in their nose and bend back toward their brow. The word babirusa signifies "pig deer" in the Malay language, as their wild-developing tusks are suggestive of deer prongs.
