Joe and Carolyn are married but no longer love each other. Instead, Joe loves gambling - which he's very bad at. Carolyn loves snorting coke - at which she's rather good. So, Joe hires Tish, a lovely hit woman, to knock off Carolyn. With the insurance money, Joe figures, he can pay off his gambling debt. No slouch in the brains department, Carolyn has a similar thought and hires the simian Danny to rub out Joe. With the insurance money from his untimely demise, Carolyn can pay her tab at the nose-candy emporium. Alas, things don't work out as planned. Joe and Carolyn have scheduled their hits for the same night, and, as a result, neither of them is in place. Our friendly killers, Danny and Tish, happen upon each other while casing Joe and Carolyn's house, and... Will Joe and Carolyn end up taking extended dirt naps? Or will they survive and work their problems out without so empathic a resolution? WilI Danny and Tish fulfill their contracts and walk away with the satisfaction of a job well done? Or will they find true love at the point of a pistol?

This was a funny novel written by the same man that gave us Good Vibes the novel that the movie Let It Ride was based on. Wife wants husband dead, husband wants wife dead, who can't relate? They both hire hitmen(women) and hijinks ensue.

One of the worst endings to a story ever. When I finished the last page I closed the book and threw it on the floor. Next!
