It's the second book from Aimee that I've read. I am thankful I’m on her ARC Team.

This book is about Saffron, the daughter of a millionaire, who tries her best to show she is smart and worth a place in her father's firm, and Ethan, a handsome billionaire, who has a competitor firm and is Saffron's brother's best friend.

The book is a billionaire romance and has the following tropes: brother's best friend (or best friend's sister), age gap (15 years) and surprise pregnancy. I found no trigger warnings. I really like Aimee’s writing. The plot was interesting and cute.

Saffron was sweet, smart, nice and underestimated at first. But I also found her to be spoiled, annoying, selfish and unfair. Ethan, on the other hand, was very interesting, attractive, nice, noble, cute, sweet, down-to-earth and logical. I totally loved him!

Overall, I liked the book and I totally recommend it!

Saffron Lavette, 25 is back in Chestnut Bay after getting her Master's Degree in Business from Oxford University. She wants to work in her family's business, Triton's but getting her dad on board with that is a whole other matter, luckily her brother Ashton is trying to help bring her in.
Ethan Adams, 40 is owner of Perseus and a direct competitor of Triton's. He is best friends with Ashton growing up together and feels Mr. Lavette was a big help in getting him started up and now hates him but he and Ashton don't let their businesses come between their friendship.
Ethan sees a woman at an event he's doing and is intrigued and realizes it's Saffron. A couple weeks go by and they run into each other and go to lunch where he offers to mentor her. The more time they spend with each other the more they like the other but they are competitors. Do they dare make them more?

Buckle up Aimee Bronson takes you on an emotional roller coaster ride with many ups and downs in this one. The emotions pull you in from the beginning. Saffron returns to town and runs into Ethan at the community cleanup she organizes. As these two realize who each other is the chemistry is on fire. As they decide to go out Saffron tries playing hard to get, then Ethan “thinks” he’s taking control to which Saffron thinks of Ethan as an “Alpha with a heart.” As they try to figure out their feelings and how to manage this relationship with all things working against them, Ethan does prove this to be true.

As issues arise in business between the two companies, Saffron’s age and inexperience compared to Ethan’s make a showing, as they struggle to work thru this it leads to some interesting situations that keep you entertained. After having a big blow with Ethan where she isn’t exactly being reasonable. She has a conversation with Ashton and what she’s says confirms what he suspected that she was seeing Ethan. This leads Ethan to giving Saffron sound advice when dealing with business. Saffron and her mom have a conversation by the pool where her mom wants her to share everything going on in her love life. This was a great conversation that leads to some interesting references later on.

Ashton and Ethan’s conversation after Ashton discovers and as something else is happening is quite interesting. Enjoy the friendship these two share in spite of Ashton’s parents feelings regarding Ethan and his business.

After Saffron’s efforts to tell her parents the truth about the man she is seeing fail. Ashton and Ethan decide to do something to help, the outcome is quite entertaining. The way Saffron tells her parents about the two of them is quite surprising and unexpected. The initial conversation after that doesn’t go well but the way Saffron stands up for herself and her relationship with Ethan is awesome. The steps Ethan takes to mend fences with her parents who he was once close to where some emotional scenes and the truth over the past comes out and is dealt with. I love how they end up in a good place.

The surprise date that Ethan pulls off when they are reunited again, in just a few hours is incredible. Oh my we all need to be spoiled like that. This is one book that will keep you turning the pages and not wanting to put it down from the beginning.

Saffron returns to town after finishing her degree. She wants to work for her father's company, but he doesn't think that she is worthy. She meets Ethan at a city cleanup event that she organized and there are immediate sparks. They end up working together even though their companies are often rivals. However, this is where Saffron's inexperience shows up a bit, because she allows emotion and her new relationship with Ethan to color her business decision and sense. Ethan gives her good business advice while still trying to maintain a relationship with her. Saffron tries to explain her relationship to her parents and they are resistant at best. She enlists her brother to help, but business and past decisions are coloring their beliefs about Ethan.

Ethan is the ultimate book boyfriend in a lot of ways. He's willing to go out of his way to mend fences with Saffron's parents for her sake as well as planning a perfect date in a matter of hours just to make her feel special. Saffron's character grows into herself throughout the story; she really is the spoiled princess at the beginning of the story, but she learns to stand on her own.

Ethan had grown up Chestnut Bay as the child of parents who worked the wealthy. He was best friends with the son of the wealthy family. Once he grew up and took over his life and pushed himself to become someone that is no longer looked at as the help, he continued to keep up his friendship with his childhood playmate, no matter their family differences.

Only now his best friends sister has also grown up and he sees her in a very different light. The more time he spends with Saffron the more he wants to be with her, only she is worried about how her parents and brother will see them as a couple. She is also struggling to make her place in the family business that her father doesn't feel she belongs in as an educated woman or not.

Only now they have a complication. Saffron is expecting and the father of her child is Ethan. How will she manage to smooth things over with the family when they see him as the enemy and the former help? Will their feelings for each other manager to win over her family? Will Ethan's friendship with her brother be able to remain intact? Can they find their way to a HEA?

I would recommend this book a great read.

This is book three of this series and told in first person POV by both the MMC and MFC. I loved this book just as much as I loved the other two books in this series. Each book can be read as a standalone. I loved the brother’s best friend/age-gap/surprise baby tropes for this book.

I loved Saffron and Ethan. I loved how Saffron was determined to help with her family business, even if her parents weren’t thrilled about it. I loved that Ethan was also viewed as the bad guy in Saffron’s parents eyes, which helped in the build up of the drama and fallout. I loved how romantic Ethan was towards Saffron and ready to show her that she wasn’t just another notch in his bedpost. I loved that Saffron’s brother, Ethan’s best friend, was so encouraging and supportive of their relationship and helped them both with their relationship in many different ways.

I have enjoyed all of Amiee Bronson’s books so far. I couldn’t put any of them down after I started them. I can’t wait to see what the next story will be about!

Saffron returned to her hometown after completing a business degree in England and hoped to work in the family business. She had the support of her older brother but her father wants her to marry an eligible bachelor and not work in “men’s business.” Her brother’s best friend, Ethan, now owns his own business that was competing with Saffron’s family business for a big city contract. Ethan’s dad had been a driver for Saffron’s family when he was younger and her dad could not accept Ethan’s success. Saffron & Ethan are attracted to each other but she is afraid that her family will object to her being involved with their business rival and her brother's best friend.

I enjoyed this story where Saffron wanted to succeed in business despite the lack of encouragement from her dad. Her brother was very supportive of her work but she wasn’t sure if he would support her becoming involved with his best friend.

Best friends brother romance

A good story I did enjoy.
Brothers best friend Ethan meets Saffron after she moves back home, with a 15yr she gap they didn't really have any interaction previously, however they now are both attracted to each other and start a secret relationship.
Her parents wouldn't approve of their relationship as he now clothes Ethan after he started a rival business which grew to excel in he is now a billionaire.
Ethans father was Saffrons parents driver years ago and they just can't accept Ethans suscess.
Lots of drama due to business, a no I t project is decided not but ultimately we saw no ending achieved.
I thought the ending was rushed which spoiled it for me, Saffron finds out she's pregnant then it jumps seven months to the birth, then jumps four months to the wedding so no real detail on either which was a shame, also we didn't do s out of the joy t project ended well or not, overall nothing seemed to have a detailed conclusion. Not what I expected reading the title.

I enjoyed Safron and Ethan's story I was engrossed in their journey from beginning to end, they've known each other for years, Ethan's fifteen years older than her and her brother's best friend. But their lives have changed from when they were younger, he's no longer just her brother's friend but is now a very rich man and a successful business rival.

Safron has been in Europe, obtaining her Master's Degree from Oxford University but has returned to take her place in the family business. When she and Ethan meet again the attraction they both feel is undeniable and strong and they decide not to fight it but to embrace it and begin, a relationship whilst keeping it a secret from her family.

The chemistry between them was palpable, their age difference irrelevant and their connection strong. It was good seeing them embrace their future together and how they didn't give in to outside influences.

Saffron is finally back home from her studies. She believes in being apart of community and wants to have a position at her dads company to use her degree. Problem is her parents just see her as their daughter don’t realize how much good she could do. Ethan’s who gre up with her brother even though his dad was their driver now has a successful company competing with Saffrons. Her dad doesn’t give him credit for his hard work. Her mom still sees him as a child of their hired help. So when sparks fly and they are attracted to each other Saffron wants it kept secret. Ethan is ok st first but as they get serious he no longer cares what others think. He’s older and over games. They have to come to terms with dealing with others or lose what they have I received an arc copy for a honest review

First Read For Me From this Author - I Liked It!!

I liked the premise so I jumped in. We have dueling companies. Differences growing up - yet Ashton and Ethan stayed best friends throughout (Yay). Ashton grew up with money - Ethan was the driver’s son. Ethan is now a billionaire.

Saffron, sibling to Ashton, just returned from England with her masters from Oxford. Her dad would prefer to see her married off rather than work in the business. There is an age gap with Ethan, but they are well matched.

Well written, with good characterizations. I took a point off for somewhat ridiculous expectations both in the relationship/business lane, and then from the dad. I do look forward to reading more from this author.

This is a drama filled but hot as he$$ sexy steamy read. Saffron has returned home and wants to give back to her community and her father's company but he doesn't see her as anything but his little princess. Ethan has known them for a long time. His father use to work for Saffron's family and they only see him as the help. If I tell you there is Drama in here and it's not coming from Saffron but her parents, believe me. Ethan's company has out surpassed theirs and now they are bidding for the same contract. I love that her brother stayed true to his friendship with Ethan. Saffron on the other hand sometimes had a short fuse that she later learn to control. The heat and love between these two will leave you hot and bothered and also breathless. There are part in this story that are like a ticking time bomb but oh you will enjoy it.

Thank you for your review.

Take the time to read this one!!
After receiving her master's degree from Oxford, Saffron thinks she will take her rightful place in the family's company. Unfortunately daddy dearest thinks she should either be able to turn the company around immediately, or get married and out of his hair.
Ethan is best friends with Saffron's brother and is also their biggest business competitor. He is also the son of their previous chauffeur. Even though he is now a billionaire, he didn't come from money.
When Ethan sees Saffron, he is intrigued as is she. They will face an uphill battle because of the age difference (15 years) and being business rivals.
Can they make it work? Would her parents ever accept Ethan? Is it even worth the trouble? All good questions, and you will enjoy reading this book and getting the answers.

This contemporary romance is page-turning with exceptional characters and world-building that is realistic. Their journey is enthralling with an off-limits, claiming your best friend's little sister; but have never been one to follow the rules, drama, a company contract, pleasure mixed with business, drama, an explicit, hot steamy romance that is engulfed with explicit lust, passion, desire, and steamy sex, secrets; can't keep the relationship under wraps much longer, intense flirting, shaking walls of my penthouse condo, and more. I recommend reading this book by an extraordinary author who knows how to captivate her reader's hearts and attention with an off-limits baby daddy and a brother's best friend billionaire romance.

4.6⭐️ Age-Gap Brother’s Best Friend Romance with a HEA

I love a brother’s best friend romance. This was not my favorite Aimee Bronson book, though. I have loved every other story that I’ve read of Aimee’s. This one was a good story … just not my favorite. Saffron was annoyingly immature. Ethan commented several times about how immature she was acting, but it didn’t matter that much to him because he was in love with her. I loved the relationship between Saffron & her brother and the relationship between her brother & his best friend, Ethan. I love how they were able to separate their friendship and the competition of business. The change in the parents from hating Ethan to accepting him gave me whiplash. It seemed to happy too fast/easy. As always, the bedroom scenes were 🔥. I was happy to get a HEA.

Saffron has just returned from school and is itching to work for her families business. However her dad is not encouraging but her brother is very supportive. In a chance encounters she meets her brother’s best friend Ethan who just happens to have started a very successful competitor to the family business. Sparks fly and drama ensues as Saffron finds it very difficult to separate business from personal as her brother has successfully done in keeping his friendship with Ethan. Of course since Ethan is her brother’s age which is fifteen years older than Saffron we have an age gap issue to overcome. This is a delightful story that shows how two people with multiple conflicts can work things out if their love is strong enough and they have open communication and respect for each other.

This book was a gentle, slow, sweet story. Like floating down a river on a nice sunny day. All the characters were nice, even grumpy dad and stuck up mom, once they got over themselves.
One of the things I like about Aimee is that when she writes a trope she doesn't follow the herd. Ethan has been in Saffron's life since she was a child. But they truly meet as adults.
I was a little disappointed in Saffron. She is a 25 year old who earned her post grad degree in England.I would expect her to be more world-wise, not to say she hadn't figured out what she wanted to do. I can forgive her naivete because I believe the author was highlighting the age gap

I liked the book 'Off-limits Baby Daddy' by Aimee Bronson. It is about the instant attraction and ensuing love affair between a young couple even though there are obvious barriers in front of them. They are happily in love even though her parents make no secret of the fact that they think the man's station in life is below their daughter's. In spite of the man becoming a successful businessman and billionaire the woman's parents still perceive him to be not worthy of their daughter. They both work at correcting this situation and making him seem worthy of their approval because their love will not be denied.

I absolutely love Aimee Bronson's books. The storylines are always catchy So is this story the forbidden rule that you don't go with your brother's best friend or your best friend's sister and certainly don't fall in love. But Saffron and Ethan don't care because you can't lose feelings you can suppress them but they still win. There's some drama and some bumps and turns they take or didn't see coming and most of all a lot of hot and steamy moments between them. This is a must read and I wish you a lot of reading pleasure!.

I really loved reading this book and read it in one sitting. It was really good, so wasn't hard to actually read it non stop haha..

Saffron and Ethan's love story was so beautiful but such a hard one. Everything is against them.
Yet both don't give up on each other. I really liked that Saffron was strong and fierce. Ethane was just 😍 hot and Alpha.

Give this a read and see how they hive in to their sizzling chemistry and how hard they have to fight against every to get their HEA.

There was so much emotion, sizzling Steamy scenes, drama and angst.

This is a Age Gap, Brother's Best Friend Romance that will captivate you right from the start. The chemistry between Ethan and Saffron is combustible and so well written. I loved the storyline as well and felt the characters were written as though they seemed real to me. This book has drama lots of romance and chemistry and a HEA that will leave you warm and fuzzy. Definitely 5 stars

Aimee Bronson has knocked it out of the park with Saffron & Ethan's story. This is a brilliant age gap story & the dynamic between the characters is what I believe sells the book. The family pressure appears to be overpowering. Will the love & desire Saffron & Ethan have for each other be strong enough to squash any doubts others may have? Love the authors writing & can't wait to see what the author writes next.

This was another good read from Aimee Bronson, I struggled with rating it because it was 4-4.5 but I can't do half stars. Age-Gap, Brother’s Best Friend are two pretty clear labels you could give this one. But some elements fit into surprise pregnancy although in some ways it wasn’t truly a surprise lol. Also, with the business rivals and being someone that her parents wouldn’t approve of it could he could be considered an enemy of part of the family even though not technically her enemy. I think this one will check off the boxes for lots of people. I did enjoy the characters and how they seemed to grow throughout the story.

This book grabbed me right from the start, the instant attraction and the age gap concerns aside, their sexual chemistry was so HOT 🥵
The main characters Saffron and Ethan were well written as were the supporting characters, the bumps along the road they faced came across as realistic scenarios in their lifestyles.
Altogether a great read and I highly recommend.

Wow. What all of us wouldn't do you have such a supportive and understanding big brother. While a secondary character he is the epitome of an all around good guy. This romance is an age gap with twists and an unplanned baby. It is amazing how love and happiness can change perspectives especially when you throw in a grandchild. This feel good, HEA Romance will keep you glued to each page a put a smile on your face.

Good simple romantic story
It's a good big brother's best friend romance, maybe not that Ethan is off limits for a relationship with Saffron, but more that the situation isn't ideal.
This gives a rather cute story in which the limits are those posed by Saffron and Ethan themselves, but also the context of the 2 companies which are in the same activity, which creates some twists

I enjoyed this book and loved the characters and storyline.
There was just the right amount of tension and drama with both firms bidding on the same project and with Saffron and Ethan trying to keep their relationship under the radar. I found Saffron to be quite immature and naive at times, but enjoyed the way they came to resolve all the family and work issues and get to their HEA.

Safron & Ethan

I loved this book from beginning to end. Safron returns to her city after being in Europe. When she see again her brother's best friend the attraction in them is very strong. Ethan has been very successful in his life, he made his fortune out of nothing. Safron and Ethan surrender to the attraction and begin, a relationship, although it has to be a secret of her family. Things happen and none of that is planned but in the end they have their HEA.

This is a wonderful age gap romance that drew me in and had me connecting with Saffron. She has graduated with a business degree and wants to work in the family's business, but her father thinks that it is man's business, and she should find an eligible man to marry. When she connects with Ethan her brother's best friend her path to happiness truly begins but will it disrupt her family and make Ethan an enemy of her brother?
