The October Moon signals a time when New Englanders gather at harvest festivals, church suppers, and apple pressings to listen to stories that prepare them for the dark days of winter. These four original ghost stories won Audioworld's Golden Headset Award for best children's audio.
Of all the tales, I found the first to be the most captivating. While the stories lean toward the spooky side, they seem more suited for younger audiences. Nevertheless, the atmosphere is wonderfully crafted, largely due to the narrator, who delivers an exceptional performance. 👌
