Elizabeth (E.B.)was born and raised in Elmhurst, IL the oldest child of two professional artists. A humanitarian at heart, she found herself continually committing to projects to help others. In 1996, she started a small nonprofit organization that worked with mothers that had been diagnosed with postpartum mood disorders, called the Mother Balance Foundation. She also became involved in animal rescue, fostering and helping to adopt dogs through Chicagoland Shepherd Rescue.
Author of two paranormal thriller/suspense books, Elizabeth recently took a turn to expose her softer funnier side. Her two recent novels, "Confessions of a PTA Mafia Mom" & "Sixty Pounds of Sh*t & Counting" are both due out in print in 2011.
Currently Elizabeth lives in Lombard IL with her husband, five children and three German Shepherds. She works full time at a private school for children with Autism and loves every single minute of it. She spends her free time writing, dreaming up new ideas, and vacationing at her cabin in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee.

Okay, I cheated. I admit it. This is my book, in other words--I am the author. I wanted to get on this Goodreads thing and try to figure out how to link myself in so I could connect with readers on a grassroots marketing level. Before you click away...take a minute and hear me out.
This book is a thriller/suspense novel with a paranormal twist. If you want a page turner, filled with intense moments and some steamy stuff--without all the Nicholas sparks beyond belief sappy crap--then this might be your top summer read.
I'm looking for people to read and review this book to help me gain some loyal fans before my second book Opals & Rubies comes out on July 1st. If you are interested let me know. I have some cool freebie giveaways and contests that you might want to participate in.
Plus, don't you want to be able to say 'I support Indie artists?'

E. B. Loan delivers a swift kick in the pants in her heart-stopping suspense thriller, "Killer On The Key." Raw, gritty and poignantly honest, Loan's first novel is a literary testament to how a tropical paradise such as Gulf Key, Florida can stir a writer's creative juices. "Killer On The Key" is filled with twists and turns that will take your breath away. A fantastic first novel, delivered in a trademark, no-nonsense style, E. B. Loan is definitely an author to watch.

This is a book that you should have in your collection. I don't usually read mysteries but when I picked up this book I could not put it down. EXCELLENT AUTHOR!!
