Workbook to help you write your own short stories!
Do you enjoy writing short stories? Do you sometimes see competitions advertised but it's too close to the submission date to write and edit a suitable entry? This workbook might help you.
This is not a book detailing how to write a short story, although it does provide you with an outline for the process. It also provides you with a collection of common competition themes. If you work through this book, you will at the very least have rough drafts of a range of different stories ready to polish up and send to any relevant competitions that you spot.
For each theme, there are six colour-coded pages taking you from your initial idea, through a mind map, through a basic outline and on to a rough draft.
From here you can polish and edit your story to the required length for each competition you find. Good luck!
