This was a reread for me. I read the story originally back in 2003 when the book was released. Since I am currently reading later books in the series, I needed a reminder on how Nick Jensen came to be the head of OMEGA, what happened during the time he was brought to America as a 9 year old by the couple in UNDERCOVER MAN,and how he and Mackenzie hooked up. As usual this is an excellent addition to the series. It filled in a lot of blanks that a reader can acquire when setting a series aside for a few years.
