Entertaining mystery listening 🎶🔰

Another will written romantic family and friends relationships adventure thriller short story by Sage Parker A Rockport Secret book 2. Rachel continues to get the bookshop ready for the opening with the help from Hunter and fellow merchants. Then Spike shows up demanding payment of her ex husbands debts. He wants her too laundry money 💰 though the bookshop. Continued in book three. I would recommend this series and author to 👍 readers of romantic relationships mystery novels 👍🔰. Enjoy the adventure of reading 👓 or listening 🎶 to Alexa read books 📚. 2023 👒😀☺🏡

Rachel is working on getting the bookshop ready to open. After a day of painting with Hunter, she returns to her apartment to find an arch enemy sitting in her living room. Trouble is brewing. How will she respond to this? She finally speaks to her mother and realizes that nothing has change and she is shocked when she spots Hunter with someone else. Was this all a mistake coming home? Join Rachel on her journey of trying to start a new life.

The story is getting more interesting as Rachel settles back home. Each book leaves you with suspense. Looking forward to what happens next.

This book is written in installments and I recommend reading the first book to fully enjoy this story.

This installment begins immediately following the first story. Rachel is stunned after finding the note from Spike. How did he find her?

Rachel works on getting the bookstore ready for opening day. Hunter helps out when he can and the two become close. Rachel starts to think she will be able to make a fresh start, until.....

This story does not have a resolution....now to wait for the next part!!.

Rachel has made more progress towards the opening of the bookshop, she is spending more time with Hunter and her mother is still contacting her about something, but what for.
Also, the debt her missing husband left behind has caught up to her and she is being blackmailed. Should she tell someone or just pay off her husbands debts.

There is still more to find out in this story and I cannot wait to read the next book in the series.

Just when Rachel thought that things might be going well for her it all changes in a flash with the appearance of Spike, a man from Rachel’s past and making demands of her. What is the hold he has over Rachel and will she be able to put it all behind her. The ending was mind blowing. Cannot wait for book three.

Great second book in this series. Rachel is working hard to put the bookshop in good shape to open in a few weeks. Lots of clean up and painting to do. Her old classmate, who is also the local sheriff, has been helping her in his off time. She's surprised by an unexpected appearance of one of her ex husband's associates. Will she be able to stay on the straight and narrow path of legal? Looking forward to book three.

Hunter is the local sheriff who keeps coming around to help with the bookstore. Rachel is still cautious because she fears he suspects what she’s done in the past.

I really enjoy the build up of mystery and questions in each book. Rachel thinks she is getting her life in order. But her past pops up and disrupts everything. Rachel sees Hunter with another woman. She begins to question whether she is wrong about him. I can't wait to see what is answered and what new mystery will pop up.

In the part of Rachel's story, we find out about her past, how and why she became a thief, what is expected to do to pay off what is owed.

Rachel had her hands full moving to Rockport and buying a bookshop. This is a continuous from the 1st book.
Thanks to her husband leaving her, she moved back to her hometown. Will she be able to hide the fact that all her money that she is using is bad money. Will she be able to stay under the radar?
All she is dreaming about is a fresh start and new beginnings.

The story continues with more build up to the story. Things are coming together at the bookstore and Rachel and Hunter are seeing each other regularly. The past catches up with her and we get some answers but are left with a surprise cliffhanger ending. I'm looking forward to the next book.

As I learn more about Rachel there is so much there!!! You are drawn into her story and wonder if she’ll ever truly break away from the past that binds her to her current reality. I can’t wait to read the next installment of her story and what her future brings!.

Book two and things are getting good! We are following Rachel as she tries to set up a new life back in her home town. As she gets ready to open the bookshop someone turns up that she doesn’t want to see. Hunter the sheriff steps up to help her but is he single and available or is he playing the field. There’s some mystery and suspense and I can’t wait for episode 3.

This is a very good series. I was so excited that the second book came out. The story really keeps your attention as you wonder how Rachel is going to get the bookstore up and ready and keep her criminal past hidden from everyone, especially Hunter. Then someone from her past shows up and she wonders if this is going to be the end. I cannot wait for the next book.

Book Two continues the story of Rachel and Hunter as they appear to become closer as they spend more time together. More of Rachel’s past is revealed. Rachel also discovers Hunter has a big secret which he has not shared with her. This book has a cliffhanger.

This is a story set in a small town! But, in Book 2 you start to feel undercurrents
That something isn’t right! You start to understand the undercurrents and where they come from!

You also, learn some back history of her family and others! This is a very good book and will be a good series! It is strongly recommended! I received this book as an ARC but, it did not effect my honest review!

This is the second book in the Rockport Secret Series; the story continues from the previous book and needs to be read in order.

I really enjoyed book 1 and book 2 just gets better and better. I think I am going to enjoy reading about Rachel and her plans for the bookstore in her hometown. In this book she is working on fixing it up.

I like her best friend Alice and Hunter seems like a nice guy.

Wonderful continuation of the story. Rachel has a lot of soul searching and trying to keep secrets is very hard to do. Complicated by a love interest. Good read.
