This bundle includes both books in the Riding Home duology: Fairy Daddy and All Revved Up.
Fairy Daddy
Gray’s stage name is Trouble. He’s earned it.
When he goes onto stage in heat, it’s clear he needs a Daddy. But that’s not all he gets the night he meets an older man with fading blue hair and a leather riding jacket. This Daddy already has a boy, and that boy wants to play with Gray too. In fact, the boy might be even more wild than Gray.
The three men just want to have fun, but somewhere along the way that fun becomes more complicated. For the first time in Gray’s life, he might be okay with that. Especially when an unexpected surprise changes everything.
Fairy Daddy is the story of three men who find love together without needing to tame their wild hearts.
All Revved Up
Building a life together is a lot more complicated than a road trip.
When Chris, Revv, and Gray bond, they live thousands of miles away from each other.
Revv and Chris live in Rixton where Chris has tenure at a prestigious university and Revv has worked for his family business for over a decade. But Rixton is in Southern California and Gray is half polar bear shifter. The summer heat is completely unbearable for him.
Gray has lived in Anchorage his entire life, and he wants to stay. But that would mean Chris giving up his dream job and Revv leaving his family in a lurch. He can't ask that of his mates.
When Revv finally figures out which of his many lovers got him pregnant, the answer may change everything…
All Revved Up is an MMM romance set in the omegaverse with MPreg and nesting. It includes characters from the Alaskan Pebble Gifters series.
This is a paranormal multiple partner romance with mpreg and contains the two books from the series. Having read a great deal of this author’s works by now, I really liked her approach to a poly relationship but also an ENM approach to relationships. There is a broader more realistic approach than the cookie cutter triad in most mmm romances.
Both stories are told from multiple points of View and I loved being able to see in their minds. Book one is like a wild ride, feverishly exciting then Book two is like the search to find comfort and peace while dealing with the ramifications of book one. I was so stinking excited by the unique ending!
I confess that I didn't actually read the bundle first. I originally read Snuggle Season between Fairy Daddy and All Revved Up, which is not a bad way to read the series, I suppose. But honestly, after re-reading the Riding Home books back-to-back, I've found that back-to-back is the best way to read these two books.
First and foremost, I must say that the bundle offers awesome glimpses of various shifter cultures in Amy Bellows's World of Heron that aren't available in her other books. If you love her world-building as opposed to loving specific shifter animals, you cannot skip this bundle because the characters of this bundle travel farther than any other characters in her other books in this series to-date (even including Omega from the Beach though that book has creatures not in this bundle).
Fairy Daddy is an entertainingly kinky introduction to polyamory in the bdsm lifestyle. However, the ending feels like a HFN cliffhanger. It technically isn't a cliffhanger, but it feels like it, which leaves an otherwise 5-star book with a 3-star aftertaste. Reading All Revved Up straight away after Fairy Daddy saves you from that cliffhanger.
The mood for All Revved Up is far more romantic than Fairy Daddy. Where Fairy Daddy explores New Relationship Energy and bdsm possibilities of polyamory, All Revved Up takes our three main characters into the nitty gritty of maintaining polyamorous relationships and navigating the changing dynamics of a polycule through lifestage changes of its members. All Revved Up is honestly the better book between the two in this bundle, but you cannot have the real emotional payoff of All Revved Up until you have paid your dues by going through Gray's emotional turmoil in Fairy Daddy.
I really hope for a third book to make this a full trilogy. My wishlist below has spoilers for the bundle.
I'm writing this review on the fly and it's past my bedtime so please excuse any errors that might be present.
What a great book bundle!!! I love this story and the three guys so much. I laughed, I cried, I had all the feels.
Lance West did an amazing job with the narration and Amy Bellows did an amazing job in the crafting of this story. Where she comes up with this stuff I'll never know.
If you're not into poly relationships or polycules you just need to pass on this story since you probably will not enjoy this.
Amy Bellows is an absolute legend and not given nearly enough props. Look Bellows can take characters and make them shine so you feel like you can truly know them and adore them. These characters (Gray, Revv, and Chris) are just brilliant and charismatic and so damn watchable. Bellows does an excellent job representing this trio building a polycule life.
I reviewed each of these books when they came out. Let me just say that this is the way to read them... all in one place. Since this is a continuous story, the books flow one into the other. You will love these men like I do. Old friends show up. Ooh, and the sex is off the charts hot. You have got to get this book. You will love it.
Gosh, the nesting scenes in Pebble Gifter series are some of my favorites, but this was just excellent and hilarious and so delightful. I also loved so much about the way this portrayed a polyam relationship and many different relationships for all the characters. This just hit so many good spots for me and I loved it so, so much!
this is one of my favorite series ever, and I reread it often. I am so excited to see it bundled together as one book and in audio and an all in one. Amy's writing can make you laugh and cry and feel the character emotions ever step of the way.
I loved both of these stories when I had to wait between their releases but having them all bundled together is the very best fun. The relationship between these 3 men is so special.
I listened to the audio version and it gives you hours of fun.
I loved these books so very much 🥰 I so enjoyed the relationship dynamics between the characters as it evolved. It was full of romance, loving gestures, hurt/comfort, laughter, and very sex positive!!!
I love this duet so much. The fun and sexiness of the first book (plus the heart of the triad forming) plus the exploration of poly relationships in the second is perfection.
This was a really good book. The characters are all well done. And I feel so bad for Chris, that whole thing was sad, but at least it worked out. And the nest was hilarious.
