"Immaterial" tiene muchos puntos fuertes: una historia bien armada, personajes queribles y un arte hermoso.
El argumento es simple, una aventura que empieza casi por error y que lleva a nuestros héroes a otro mundo. Sin embargo, surge un peligro que hace que haya tensión a medida que se va descubriendo la trama.
Aunque los tiempos que maneja la historia son veloces, parece una decisión a conciencia de la autora.
Los personajes principales, Alex y Ethan, son adorables y complejos, su amistad es hermosa, y aunque se siente la tensión del posible romance, no es lo importante y aprecio que no haya terminado con ellos juntos.
Respecto al arte, es hermoso. Los paisajes de la realidad alterna son bellísimos, los constructos y animales mágicos están llenos de detalles que les dan personalidad y el uso de puesta en página es perfecto. Sin duda, uno de los puntos fuertes del libro.
En resumen, una lectura bella y rápida, con una historia de fantasía simple pero que no por eso aburre.

"Immaterial" it's an incredible read. It has a well-crafted story, lovable characters, and beautiful art.
The plot is quite simple, a magical creature takes our heroes to another world and they have to find their way back. There's enough at stake to make such a simple task interesting.
I felt the pacing was a little too fast, but it seems a conscious decision by the author and it helps to create the chaotic vibe from the other reality, so I'll give it a pass.
The MCs, Alex, and Ethan are adorable, their friendship is beautiful, even if there are some romantic undertones there. I appreciate the dedication to creating the friendship first.
Regarding the art, it is beautiful. The alternate reality landscapes are beautiful, the magical constructs and animals are full of little details, and the use of layout is borderline perfect. Definitely one of the strengths of the book.
"Immaterial" is a beautiful and fast read, with a simple fantasy story, that makes you smile once the book is over.
