This was an interesting and fun read. I found the author refreshing and honest in her stories. I learned a lot about strippers (some I already knew), she wasn't crude or rude at anytime and was often hilarious.

It was a quick read, but it was very captivating and had interesting stories from the viewpoint of a professional exotic dancer. This book opened my eyes to experiences in a strippers everyday life. Don't forget- sex work is real work! Kept me wanting to read more.

Great read! Comes from the perfect raw perspective. To those who say they don’t believe she “encountered a secret spy, a man who wanted to dress up as a baby and be "changed," a man who wanted to lick jam from between her toes, etc”…. Let me tell you. The stories I could tell…. And I never even worked in that industry.

I was a bartender and manager in the top clubs and bars in nyc for 13 years. Not only did I meet literally upwards of 500+, if I had to guess, most likely many more, guys, (and quite a few girls) , of these type (minus a spy as far as I know), I also had a significant number of patrons with different odd fetishes that they liked to share (People, especially men tend to open up quickly with me) within the first MONTH of bartending, I had met a handful. These are regular upscale clubs and bars mind you. Before you cast doubt, think before you judge.

I digress, I could not put this down, with the exception of throwing in bunch of thesaurus words, somewhat repetitively, this is a fantastic book. I recommend anyone to read who is curious about this industry, who has already made judgments about people in this industry, anyone in the hospitality industry (I’m looking at you fellow bartends) in addition to anyone who is looking for a solid memoir.

I also like that she is unapologetic, with everything, but especially with the different “tactics, tricks… whatever you want to call it” she used in order to make more money.

This was a quick read. Written from a very pro-stripper point of view. It brushes over the reality for most dancers. Very glamourized view on the whole scene. Not the type of book you read out in public because you might get some stares. If you want to get one strippers take on the strip club world with all sorts of sordid tales, this book is for you.
