Solving problems. Evaluating options. Choosing direction. You need to be adept at critical thinking every day on the job. When you can show that your decisions are based on sound reasoning, you give yourself an unbeatable advantage as a leader or a rising star.
I use this book to teach a Critical Thinking class. It's well-organized, progresses well, and leaves a lot of opportunity for class discussion and personalization. It's not so high level that it can't be used in a beginning class. It's not patronizing and shows that critical thinking is a skill that gets better with practice.
