In 2004, CLAMP's 15th anniversary as a mangaka group, the members changed their names from Nanase Ohkawa, Mokona Apapa, Mick Nekoi, and Satsuki Igarashi to Ageha Ohkawa, Mokona, Tsubaki Nekoi and Satsuki Igarashi (her name is pronounced the same, but written with different characters) respectively. The August 2004 issue of Newtype USA, a magazine specializing in events of the anime and manga subcultures, reported that the members of CLAMP simply wanted to try out new names. In a later interview with Ohkawa, it was revealed that initially Mokona wanted to drop her surname because it sounded too immature for her liking, while Nekoi disliked people commenting that her name was the same as Mick Jagger's. Ohkawa and Igarashi, wanting to go with the flow of Nekoi's and Mokona's name changes, changed their names as well.
In 2006, they made their first USA public debut at Anime Expo in Anaheim, California. They were well received at the convention, with 6,000 fans in attendance at their panel.

So we've finally reached the Tsubasa series finale with volume 28, and Tsubasa fans had better have been paying attention the last couple volumes, because it's about to get confusing. This volume finally answers the questions we've been waiting for, but nothing is simple in this series. There are alternate Syaoran's and Sakura's from alternate worlds, alternate timelines, and worlds that technically shouldn't exist at all. It gets mighty difficult to keep them all straight. The ending in my opinion could have been better, considering I spent 28 vol waiting for S and S to get together and in the end they're torn apart again. Also, where are the smoochies? Not one of the S and S pairs shared a kiss, and I don't know about the rest of you, but I've been waiting since Card Captor Sakura for them to share a kiss.

Review of the last volume
The ending! What I expected and what I have gotten! After 28 volumes, adventures, heartbreaks, tears and sacrifices, they parted AGAIN! Why the hell would that happen?! I did not liked the ending at all!
Plus, the plot holes, confusions and stupid explanations! I feel cheated and hollow. I did not feel any emotions towards the story. I even didn't care about characters anymore! It was not like this five volumes before. I feel like the story went astray. Ugh...
Review of whole series
I have mixed feelings about this manga. Beginning was powerful, some story arcs were interesting. But after a while, it got repetitive. I waited for good explanations and decent ending. But it didn't get decent explanations and the ending was horrible.
I liked main characters : Shaoran, Sakura, Kurogane, Fai, Dimension witch Yuka However, some were medicore and forgettable. I didn't like the main evil character, he was one dimensional and uninteresting.
So, the story was like a repetitive fairy tale gone dark and confusing after a while. I really want to like this, but searching for my emotions, I don't feel any. It is like an okay-didn't-like-much-but-okay kinda story.
So, 3.92 stars overall.

At the end I was seriously like WTF IS GOING ON WHAT WHY WHAT????????? WHY????????? (Definitely more like WHY IS THIS HAPPENING I DON'T EVEN.)
So it was amazing at the beginning, but then eventually CLAMP remembered that they're pretty bad at ending their stories, so they decided to ignore the plot holes and make it as convoluted as possible.
I love their art, I adore all the characters to bits, but seriously... this ending.....

RESEÑA PARA TODA LA SERIE

Hace unos días estaba hablando con una amiga y le dije que estaba leyendo el comic más fumado que nunca había leído en mi vida (segundo volumen de Doom Patrol, y dije que era lo más fumado del mundo por su uso de la metaficción); mi amiga contestó algo como: "y eso quiere decir algo viniendo de alguien que le entiende a las CLAMP". Esa respuesta me atacó personalmente y por eso decidí que iba a hacer una entrada regada de mi nostalgia (digo, es un tema común en el blog últimamente) para contarles por qué está es mi serie favorita de CLAMP y básicamente mi manga/comic/todo favorito en la vida.
A ver, cuando yo leí Tsubasa lo único que había visto de CLAMP fue la adaptación al anime de X/1999 porque una ficker hizo un fic de Harry Potter basado en el manga y era la cosa más extraña que yo había leído nunca (¡hola, Makoto!). Después me di a la tarea de buscar los mangas (en español, porque no leía en inglés en aquellos benditos años) y lo único que pude encontrar con una traducción decente fue Tsubasa. Y eso leí. Sin haber nunca jamás visto o leído Card Captor Sakura y básicamente nada del universo CLAMP (con excepción de X). Bonita manera de empezar, ¿verdad? Digamos que leer los 28 volúmenes me costó sangre, sudor, lágrimas pero LOS LEÍ. No desistí porque claramente era una historia terriblemente complicada, con personajes que me gustaban mucho (¡Fyeeeee!) y que estaba ambientada en el multiverso.
Y la amé.
Ahora voy a hacer una lista de las cosas por las que se las recomiendo.
1. ¿YA DIJE QUE ESTÁ AMBIENTADA EN EL MULTIVERSO? ¡¿No?! Bueno, lo está. Además, juega con esa idea y juega con las paradojas temporales que se pueden crear dentro del multiverso. No se las voy a spoilear, así que sólo puedo decir eso. Puedo agregar que lo hace de manera muy inteligente todas las veces. Lo que sí debo decir es que, debido a esto y a que aparecen cameos u otras versiones de un montón de personajes de CLAMP puede resultar ser la mejor manera de introducirte al universo de CLAMP o la peor. No puntos medios, depende de cada quien.
2. El arte es hermoso. La única razón por la que casi nunca jamás me atrevería a hacer un cosplay de CLAMP es que les encanta el estilo *más recargado imposible*, pero la verdad es que, visualmente, casi todos sus mangas son muy bonitos. Me encanta la atención a los detalles a lo largo de todo el manga y el diseño tan cuidado de todos los personajes. De hecho, sólo por el gusto de voy ponerles un montón de ilustraciones del manga.
3. Una razón muy importante es que los cuatro millones de conflictos se resuelven. Creo que es la razón por la que me gusta más que xxxHolic, que sí me dejó con unas cuantas interrogantes, es que Tsubasa te ataca con millones de conflictos y problemas todo el tiempo y los resuelve poco a poco y a veces de golpe. Hay un pay-off a la migraña que causa lo complicado de la trama. Si no, probablemente hubiera aventado el manga muy lejos. No me gusta la gente que no sabe resolver sus desmadres. Las CLAMP saben hacerlo, a veces generando más desmadres en el camino, pero el caso es que sí hay pay-off. Sientes que leíste toda la historia para algo, que todo lo que los personajes pasaron e hicieron tuvo un sentido, que todas las decisiones buenas y todas las horribles tuvieron algún sentido.
4. La manera en la que se desarollan los sentimientos de los personajes me encanta. Básicamente me encanta porque me hace tener ganas de llorar y querer abrazarlos a todos y decirles que todo estará bien. Los cuatro protagonistas (Sakura, Syaoran, Fye y Kurogane) aportan a la historia porque cada uno es diferente y porque tiene motivos diferentes para estar donde está. Más que de aventura, creo que el manga es terriblemente (en el buen sentido) introspectivo y eso obliga a que constantemente miremos a los personajes y veamos como la trama cambia y avanza gracias a sus decisiones, a sus dudas y a sus acciones. Las CLAMP los crearon y los pusieron sobre la página con mucho empeño.
Esas son mis cuatro razones para aplaudirle a este manga. Creo que es una obra magistral y que estoy segura, dejó agotada a sus creadoras (sobre todo si consideran que es una de sus obras más largas y que se escribió en formato de crossover con xxxHolic). Existe un anime que no le hizo justicia y que fue llenado de relleno. Se quedó sin final, creo que sólo llega a uno de los tomos de enmedio o poco después y eso porque le hicieron unas OVAs donde después de capítulos y capítulos de relleno en la nada, pasa de todo. No se los recomiendo como les recomiendo el manga.
De todos modos, si deciden leerlo y acaban con dolor de cabeza, me disculpo de antemano. Son cosas que suele causar CLAMP.
Yo lo leí en inglés en MangaHere (uso MangaRock en el celular) la segunda vez, por si no saben dónde encontrarlo. No es mi plataforma favorita, pero la traducción es bastante decente. En español no me acuerdo donde lo leí y tampoco se los recomendaría porque aunque entiendo que era una traducción fan hecha con amor, era de lo más inconsistente (la ortografía de los nombres cambiaba cada varios capítulos, sólo por darles una idea), confusa y demasiado amateur.

Must para todos los fans de CLAMP!!! Increíble los giros que hay y las nuevas historias que consiguen sacar las autoras con los universos y personajes de sus mundos, reales u oníricos. Aunque es cierto que creo que la historia podría haber sido mucho más corta, merece la pena de principio a fin y el final es simplemente alucinante.

Overall I did enjoy reading this series. There were some super fun arcs and some incredible characters. I don't love the ending.

OH. MY. GOSH. I will now go cry because this series is over and I need to replace it with something even more fabulous which is right next to impossible! I love how the story was really elongated, honestly the fact that there are 28 books in the series just made me so excited to work my way to the end and now that it's done I'm just so lost! What a mushy romance yes? No! The battle scenes were so epic and the fluffy romance in the backgrounds were depicted beautifully! The artwork in itself is a masterpiece and really just made the story for me. The characters were so lovable, following your stereotypical storybook characters, with the obvious twists that really made this series of books much better than your average fantasy! I don't think I'll be able to stop raving, there were so many parts in this series that would make you want to cry because even with the blossoming romances and raging battle sequences, the real plot behind the meat of the story is quite dark which I think makes this story so unique. It really keeps you thinking, from the behind aspects to something the author mentioned earlier that they bring up later in the story to keep you thinking. And the plot twists. There is not even enough I can say about them! Wow! With the storyline fabulous already once these crazy twists are put into play, honestly it casts this shadow on the whole thing, unmasking the real darkness of its plot, making you scramble for more. Of course it ends like all fantasies, with a tingling sensation that the characters are leaving you, whether the ending may be sad or happy. I certainly felt it! I honestly do recommend that everyone read this series, even if you are not into the anime/manga genre it really is a timeless read with a futuristic plot and amazing morals and life lessons if you choose to find them. Read it!

Huh? That's the end?????
It's not bad, but it is bitter sweet, like a lot of mangas tend to be in all honesty. I feel like the characters did stay true to themselves at least, so that's a good thing. and finally Clow being Sakura's father is explained! Thank goodness, as that was really annoying me!
I still don't get Sakura's parents suddenly being alive in the end, but maybe it had to do with fixing the worlds??? There are too many Sakuras! Gosh, was that confusing as heck! I do like the cameos of everyone, as I actually knew them in this one!
I do feel like 28 volumes was a little overboard, as the first like 16-20 were just running through worlds, and really repetitive, and had only Kurogane and Sakura's pasts. I feel like it could have been cut down 2-6 volumes easily, but that's just me.
Still goanna read XXX Holic, since Watanuki is a great character!

Jesus Christ, I'm going to have to come back to this later for a decent review. And by later, I mean 'after my marathon also containing Cardcaptor Sakura and xxxHOLiC'. Maybe I'll understand more of it than the 70% (at most) I get now. (It used to be 40%, so there's definitely some improvement!)
That poor translator. He felt he had to apologize for not seeing all the twists coming and thus having errors in his translation work - I don't think anyone actually knew where Tsubasa was headed though, except for Ohkawa. The other 3/4 of CLAMP had no idea. So translation wise, I think he did a great job: the complicated explanations in the latter volumes were actually quite clear in translation.
Anyway, the ending arcs are definitely not what you'd expect after the rather happy-go-lucky, let's-go-on-a-collect-them-all-trip beginning from volume 1. What started as a nice, somewhat more mature sequel to Cardcaptor Sakura, became very dark and twisted after the first dozen volumes or so. Nevertheless, it's a journey I've enjoyed a lot. CLAMP's art is wonderful as usual, and the characters have so many sides to them (sometimes more literally than they'd like). I'd say something sensible about the story as a whole, but for that, I need to read everything in one go, which I've never done until now.
I'll probably include a more complete review later, but for now, this is it.

I still sorta hate the ending, but at least it’s thematically on point.

but there's one thing you must remember. whether you want it or not, once you have created bonds between you and other people, those bonds will never disappear. | rating for the whole series + general thoughts:
- i can't believe CLAMP invented found familyhood i'm seriously so distraught
- i can't believe sakura and syaoran invented LOVE what the heck. they really are soulmates iiiiii

overall, i do think this was a good time & i'll definitely come back and revisit it sometime cuz i need to study fai under a microscope. also things got a pretty wild and kinda confusing near the end (also fwr is not a strong villain lmao that guy was flat as hell). i would recommend this series after consuming some other CLAMP works specifically [stares at hands] tokyo babylon & x/1999 because there are a bunch of reoccurring characters (granted w/ different occupations/pasts/relationships (subaru/kamui vampire brotherhood i WIN so hard)) so it was a lot of fun recognizing them & catching references!

Está historia es mucho más compleja de lo que me imaginé, realmente hay que prestarle atención a cada detalle para ir llevando la continuidad. Aunque no quede satisfecha con el final abierto, tengo que admitir que la pasé muy bien cerrando este capítulo que tenía pendiente en mi juventud.
Adoré a todos los personajes sus características, su personalidades y más que todo su construcción y desarrollo en el transcurso de la trama.
Realmente todo lo que pasó desde el país de Tokio en donde aparecieron Kamui y Subaru me tomo por sorpresa, y disfrute de la historia que guarda este manga.

Finished this book and that's the last in this manga series. I am so happy I did! This is my daughter's favorite manga. And I can see why. It's full of humor and suspense, with no small dose of tragedy.
A story of two young lovers facing an impossible fate. In order to reclaim the princess Sakura's lost memories, Syaoran sets out on a journey fraught with danger after paying a heartbreaking price.
Joined by the lovable and many talented 'pork bun' Mokona, a wizard, Fai, who carries with him a terrible secret, and a warrior ninja, Kurogane, who only wishes to get back home, the five start out on a journey that will traverse dimensions and threaten the basic rules of the universe.
This series is full of adventure and romance. There are many surprising twists and I found myself having to reread some parts for clarity. But my advice is to stick with it as the complex story unfolds in due time. Much to the reader's satisfaction.

سبق وكنت موقنه تماما تسوباسا مانجا من انتاج كلامب فكيف لا تكون رائعه وهذا ما أكد لي مع إنهائها رغم ان النهايه مبهمه وبها من الأحداث المتشابكة الغير واضحه الا انها جميله قد ينتهي بس الامر بالحديث عن القصه وتحرقها تماما لكن سأنصح بها لأي شخص يحب قراءة المانجا واختصر بأنها قصه عظيمه بداية جميله للسنه

Another CLAMP title, Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE was next on my list of series to read as it has some significant cross-over to xXxHolic's storyline. The publisher says that you don't need to read one to enjoy the other, but that's not entirely true. In order to fully understand both stories, you should read both. So, I did.
Despite both stories merging at various points, Tsubasa has an entirely different feel from its sister-story xXxHolic. The target demographic is not the same (it's geared toward a younger age group), but as the story progressed, I quickly understood that it did not necessarily follow that the story would be simpler. In fact, for as elaborate and intricate the artwork is in xXxHolic, the story in Tsubasa is just as elaborate and intricate. Some of the concepts and plot twist elements will probably not appeal as much to a Western audience, but the translator/editor's notes are extremely well done by Del Rey and help to explain much (but not all) of the cultural nuances. Of course this issue with cultural nuances (even such a 'simple' thing as the way people address each other by name) holds true in most manga, but I think it's pivotal in Tsubasa.
The first half of the series could easily be discounted as lightweight and of not much significance, but as volume 15 and volume 16 shift the story to a more serious darker tone, those early chapters show their importance by providing a solid foundation for characters and relationships as events suddenly throw everything upside down. Nothing is predictable in this story, and after reading many a cookie-cutter story (both in manga and in traditional literature), this aspect of true unpredictability was welcome.
Highly recommended.

confusing and upsetting - but with a very hopeful ending - this volume was an emotional rollercoaster. just when I thought I had a handle on what was going on . . . but wait, this is CLAMP, can we ever really know what is going on? the cameo by the Magic Knight Rayearth trio was a cute bonus at the beginning, but then - Watanuki. This boy . . . but anything else would be a spoiler, even the wonderful visions of certain characters in the future. do you have certain dreams for sakura and syaoran? CLAMP can make them come true and then - well, that would be telling.
(2019 reread) I understand everything a lot better now after rereading side by side with xxxholic - as much as anyone can understand the time loops/time stops/reversals/absolute impossibilities/WAIT did Clow's wish create Fei Wang? is that was is implied? what the actual hell is going on here . . . notice a lot of details in the same vein that are just a quick mention/implication and my mind is totally blown. how does CLAMP even do this?

Actual rating: 4.3 stars. Yes 4.3 stars.
This is probably my rating on the whole volume combined of tsubasa chronicles.
The ending was just....... Idek what clamp was thinking. I did not like the ending.
Not to friggin mention, I felt like the few chapters towards the end were too rush. Like come on, they only found like what 5 feathers out of idk, 1000000 feathers ? I wanted more adventure :-( I wanted to see Sakura and syaoran bond but NO. Clamp just suddenly. jusT SUDDENLY, brought forward all the plot twists, loops, clone thing , reincarnation , dimensions, paternal connections and what not into the series.
Other than that, I guess the manga was overall enjoyable :-) I really like the character development between fai, kurogane, Sakura and syaoran. And their journey was fairly interesting as well.

definitely cried a lot..the feels ....oof
a magnificente end to a fascinating story about choices and consequences...it did get a little confusing as to who we were talking about at a given time but with some effort it can be made sense of....

I have such mixed emotions right now; On one hand,my heart is broken.On the other,it is totally restored and happy. So much has happened in this series,and the characters are so amazing and beautiful and epic and perfect that reading the ending just feels surreal.But it makes me soooo happy to know that "their journey continues". This will forever be my favorite manga, and no book series has impacted me more.I guess it IS possible to be in love with a book!

It is over. It leaves you longing and yearning. Personally, it is one of my favourite series/manga and every time I read it, I discover more and more things. I finally got to read the special chapter in the end too, so it finally made more sense. I do hope they will continue it (I heard something about a new series picking up from where this ended) but my deepest wish is that one day they will continue the anime too.
I hope one day Syaoran and Sakura can be happily together.

It's an epic, dramatic adventure that spans dimensions, and a love story that overcomes time itself. Not to mention all the cameo appearances from all the best CLAMP characters from other series, it's like a walk down memory lane! Alongside xXxHolic, this manga is not to be missed!

I loved this series. This was actually a really wonderful ending. I loved the twists and turns and sometimes mass confusion that it had in it, but it all intertwined to perfect sense in the end. Wonderful. CLAMP still tops the charts in my manga artists/writers book.

Review for complete series
Tsubasa is in a way a love letter to all of CLAMP's other works. I went into this having read almost all - definitely all relevant - series by CLAMP, so I can't say for sure, but I think this series is only half as fun if you haven't read the other works (preferably all). If you enjoy Easter Eggs and cameos, Tsubasa is an absolute treat.
For the longest time, Tsubasa was the longest manga series I owned; anything beyond 10 volumes makes me think twice as I find that most lengthy series just drag unnecessarily. However, it was impossible for me to say no to Tsubasa, Sakura and Syaoran from Cardcaptor Sakura have been long-time favourite manga characters of mine, not to mention that I am generally very fond of CLAMP and all their big and small crossovers. Reading a story that combines almost their entire bibliography and with Sakura and Syaoran as the main characters was too good to say no to. It should also be mentioned that this series is heavily interwoven with xxxHolic's plot and should best be read alongside each other.
This Syaoran and Sakura are not the same from Cardcaptor Sakura (although the original Sakura makes a cameo). In essence, this is a story about travelling between dimensions - the same person can exist in different versions of themselves in different universes. Sakura and Syaoran travel between the different worlds - all very different - and meet characters and elements from all across CLAMP's other works. In fact, some characters appear more than once to highlight how the same being can exist and lead a different life in different worlds. It's really fun to see the characters from other stories living different lives, some are funny and some are bittersweet. CLAMP has killed off a fair amount of its characters in other works so it's nice to see some of them leading happier and peaceful lives.
In addition to meeting a whole lot of known characters, there are also a couple of Tsubasa original characters such as Fay and Kurogane who accompany Sakura and Syaoran on their travels. I've grown to love Fay and Kurogane almost as much as I love the other two - so while Tsubasa is very much a homage to other CLAMP works, it's also a very character-driven story with both Fay and Kurogane having intricate and deep personalities. I also have to express my apologies to Kurogane - I always expected not to like him because I'm not very fond of brawns-over-brains type of characters, but I was very wrong about him; great character, smart as well a strong and just a really great guy.
Being a work of CLAMP, it's almost needless to say that the art is beautiful. That being said, this is more of a shounen-esque series which also shows in the art with the somewhat oddly length limbs and a greater focus on action, weapons and muscles. I prefer shoujo art, but the facial art is much the same as other CLAMP works so I can absolutely live with that.
A downside of Tsubasa is plain and simple that it gets confusing. There are time skips, world switching, doubles across different series (xxxHolic) and rather vague motivations from the villain's side. At some point, I just decided to go with the flow rather than trying to make sense of every detail. There's a bit of a loose end, though I wouldn't exactly call it a band ending either. Now that they are working on a sequel, it'll be interesting to see where things will lead to next.
Either way, an absolute gem if you like CLAMP and crossovers, and Sakura, Syaoran, Fay and Kurogane are just a great team of characters - to be fair, Mokona is as much part of the team and deserves a mention too. Finally, I just love these characters.

CONSIDER THIS REVIEW AS A REVIEW FOR THE WHOLE SERIES + RANT OF A TSUBASA ENTHUSIAST
I'm so sad I finished this manga. I fell in love with the anime when I was 11 I think and I watched the series at least 3 times, now I'm 28 and it's the first time reading all the manga.
I've always considered TRC one of my fav anime and I was really fond of it, but the anime series always left me with questions and it wasn't complete, at the same time getting my hands on the whole manga collection was hard and reading it through scans didn't feel right. It's 17 years later and I managed to get the 28 original Italian manga series from 2007/2010 and I read the 28 volumes all in one week, like some kind of magic was keeping me glued to the volumes. I couldn't stop reading even though a part of me wanted to read just one volume per day to savor it after waiting for so many years.
I don't think I can give an objective review without considering the bond I have with this series, but I'll try to.
The CHARACTER DESIGN is great, a lot of panels needed justice with color (but thankfully there are other media like character books and other collection with colored versions of the chapters covers and other panels). At the same time though I've often mentioned in other volumes reviews that the fight scenes weren't always clear and they were a bit confusing. That's why I definitely preferred them in animation. It was difficult sometimes to understand who was getting beaten, who was winning, who was who.
The PLOT. Oh gosh the plot. The base ideas should be easy to understand: it's a manga talking about a group of people traveling to search the memories of a princess through different dimension. And that's how I will describe it to put it simply. BUT all the plot twists, the side stories, the space and time travels and the clones and the relatives of the clones and all their connection OH GOD THAT'S BEING A PAIN IN THE AZZ TO UNDERSTAND. And I still have to process the whole story and check with myself if I'm satisfied with all the answers I received since I'm writing this after having just closed the last volume. There were moments in which I wanted to scream with frustration because I wasn't understanding anything, but somehow at the end almost everything is unraveled.
The story is not ending here. I know there are other 3 volumes + I'm planning to also read xxxholic since their stories are intertwined, but for now thank you Tsubasa 🥺✨🪶

Okay, now that the series has ended, I can put a real review on this! I ABSOLUTELY loved it! In the beginning, it's has a cute and silly plot with a strong romance and undying devotion from the main character, Syaoran. I loved all the different personalities, especially after the series took a surprise turn and turned from a cute and silly plot to a mysterious and dark plot. I don't know if there is going to be a second series, but it'd be really fun to see if it was. At first I thought that since "Tsubasa" meant "those with wings" and Sakura had to get her feathers back and the Wings of Death were a huge turning point for her, I never expected both Syaoran and Sakura's real names were Tsubasa!

It's freaking confusing, which is why I usually don't care for stories that involve the space time continuum, time travel, or clones, but this series is so unique that I can't help but love it. It's also a huge nostalgia factor for me now, nine years after the story's ended. I'm especially grateful that the story gets to continue in Tsubasa World Chronicle because I still think it's freaking tragic that Syaoran still has to wander continuously because he's a paradoxical existence. Este año tenía muy claro que quería enfocar parte de mis lecturas en manga y llevaba un tiempo largo queriendo hacer una relectura tanto de Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE, además de Tsubasa: World CHRoNiCLE combinando con XXX Holic y XXX Holic Rei, los cuales no había leído del todo. Tsubasa es probablemente mi colección manga más amplia y, pese a sus defectos, siempre ha tenido un hueco especial en mi corazón. Honestamente, haciendo la lectura combinada con XXX Holic, creo que la historia se enriquece considerablemente y, aunque creo que las CLAMP se pasan de vueltas con sus líneas temporales alternativas y las réplicas de personajes, la historia tiene el final que necesitaba. He leído muchas quejas de que si no hay beso, que si Sakura y Xiaolang no terminan juntos... pero creo sinceramente que esto no es un cierre definitivo a la historia, al menos no me dan esa sensación.
Con el cierre del arco de Clear Card de Card Captor Sakura había esperado que se hubiera abierto la puerta a una nueva saga de Tsubasa y, a pesar de que cierto personaje nuevo de este arco sí ha salido en el nuevo capítulo de XXX Holic Rei, me temo que con CLAMP no queda otra más que esperar, pero ojalá continuen la historia, porque a pesar de sus agujeros argumentales raros, es imposible no amar a los personajes de esta serie.

review of entire series: WHAT?
I feel like I need a psychotherapist and a theoretical physicist to walk me through this series, because this was CONVOLUTED, and not in the way that awes you when it's finally laid out and everything makes sense, because... it doesn't really make sense. IDK what a fair number of the characters' motivations really were. I raced through this series to the end hoping I would finally understand everything but I just don't.
I originally read this as it came out, because I adored CCS and loved the chance to see them be main characters again in a new way, but had to stop collecting due to lack of storage space, but this was a blessing in disguise. I can only imagine my fury if I had kept up collecting this manga as it came out, eagerly anticipating the ending for 6.5 years to end up with this.
I wanted to like this so very much and instead I just feel meh. Parts were quite enjoyable (particularly the beginning when it was still cute, before everything got horrifying and confusing) but ultimately I feel let down because I just feel so baffled.
