Rob Callahan's writing holds small traces of Michael Moorcroft, Iain Banks and Irvine Welch, but mostly his stories are his own, without comparison particularly amongst new writers in the genre (I leave it to the reader to figure out what that genre maybe), he is a master of his craft, leading you along a path you might have thought impassable but for his guidance he nudges your protesting mind into worlds of dark and sparking eddy's until you surface gasping and bruised, swearing, as you turn a page nontheless, that you will this time put down the book until daylight at least.
A must read collection of absolutely amazing stories. I could list each one and why I liked it and why you need to read it. Instead, why don't you discover them for yourself?
